War Weaver and magic device spells

Can a War Weaver cast spells from a scroll or wand or staff into his weave as long as it meets the harmless requirement?

I assume you're refering to casting spells into the Eldritch Tapestry...
The wording in the ability isn't very clear on this, but i'm inclined to say "No" for 2 reasons:
1- you must spend material components and make decisions equivalent to casting the same spell on the various targets.
2- The spells from a scroll or wand aren't considered "your spells" (ex.: you can't sacrifice them to feats like "Arcane Strike").

You could probably agree on a houserule with your DM in the lines of: "if casting from a wand, you expend as many charges from it as the targets of the spell". You would still gain (i.e. single activation = many targets) and in line with the class, IMO.

However, for scrolls i can't see it working, sorry.
