Randomness: The head electrician for the theater at which I spent the last week working is the niece of... Gary Gygax!

Dunno. It didn't come up until the end of load-out, as we were finishing up. (Also, she wasn't the easiest person to work with, so I tried to keep my interactions to a minimum.)

So I am running two separate games in the same game world.  The parties are utterly unaware there is a second team, but their shenanigans are already affecting one another.

I can't tell them, I won't, but it brings me to weeping hilarity at all the insanity.  One party has caused the problems of another....
Mudada.

I have wanted to do this for a long, long time.  But I can't coordinate ONE gaming group consistently, let alone two :(
I'm not arguing, I'm explaining why I'm right.

In a Bleach freeform game I'm participating in, a family of Quincies assaulted another and pinned the blame on a third.

One of the members of said family is actually honest enough to come to a different faction for help and blow the lid on this thing wide open. Unfortunately, the assassin responsible for said murder is in love with him. And also happens to be batshit insane.

So my character comes up with a pair of devices that allows the sane side of the pair to leash the assassin. Shaped like wedding rings. And proceeds to marry them.

The reactions were hilarious.  :D

Vin Diesel was a D&D player.

I installed a Linux distro, with the main feature I was looking for, getting it working with UEFI, and getting the MS core fonts installed, and nothing broke!

(Basically, I wanted a rolling release because I HATE version updates, my Windows partition is UEFI and I hate messing with Wine to try and get games running, and those fonts can be awkard to install. I found something that fit the first, it actually had working instructions for the second--and where the instructions failed, the manual for rEFInd was able to explain how to stop firmware booting Windows, and for once nothing went wrong. Like the thing I installed earlier today for some reason couldn't do any sort of hardware rendering, even though it found the integrated graphics (it totally lost the graphics card somehow))
