Actually, I don't typically imbibe alcohol, I have a slight allergy to the stuff.

I hate the taste, so for me, it has to be on fire to make it tolerable.

Try a salad with chunks of fresh habanero in it.  That's practically the same as it being on fire.  (I have had that, so I'm speaking from experience ...)

Unfortunately she had already had quite a few and tried to knock it back way too quickly.... cue burning liquid all over her face. (she was fine, if a little singed afterwards)

It was like pouring acid into my throat. Kinda hard to swallow, that, so I coughed it up.

True connoisseurs sip their burning drink while maintaining eye contact with the bartender. You have to savour the taste of ash to truly appreciate such fine drinks.

I have never drunk tequila slowly. That stuff tastes nasty.
