More seriously, like it or not, we are designed to incorporate death.
We can't even
eat without something else dying or losing the potential for life. Each movement of your muscles tears through muscle fiber, which then regrow stronger; your cells are killed systematically and continually so you can grow.
The thing to remember is that death isn't a
bad thing; you need it to prevent stagnation, and as a release for suffering. Now, are there unnecessary, wrongful deaths? Yes, far too many.
As for a world that cares... take your opinions. Now make some of them objectively wrong. Now make them inarguable, because the set-up of the world means that such things have inherent, inarguable meanings. Again, I believe it would be a terrible world that cared; I vastly prefer a world that supplies the whats and hows but not the whys.
