Core only PP recharge?
Wilder + Bestow Power.
A 7th-level Wilder expends 3pp on Bestow Power, applies the effects as if they had spent 6pp, and gets back 4pp. Shame about the Enervation, but you can just do this out of combat ...

Yeah, that's it ... except Enervation takes 15% * 7 ppoints (via level) = -1.05
Basically a coin flip, unless one more 1 ppoint discount shows up, like the pre-Mic Torc.
Wilder 4 into Anarchic Initiate iirc overlaps instead of stacking on enervation, so that one works.  (been awhile)

Or simply Enervation Endurance but recharge time slows down until break even point at lv12. how does the anarchic initiate psy enervation overlap/substitute the wilder one?

...

I'm curious, SorO, does this 'debating style' work on anybody?  Because from where I'm sitting, all you've done is throw random quotes that don't particularly apply to the situation while loudly proclaiming how stupid anyone who disagrees with you is.  Are you being intentionally disingenuous or do you just like to post things without reading them?  And now, in a new low, you've gone with the "well it doesn't matter, it's a stupid trick anyway, there are better options" tactic.

Why would that matter?  Despite your rantings, it's not even "my" trick anyway.  And it's not one I would actually use in a campaign - because in no campaign that I've ever played would the GM have been on board with infinite PP.  It's a fun quirk of the rules, like much of this thread, but for some unknown reason you felt obligated to go ballistic about it.

So let's be clear - I'm arguing with you because you're wrong and obnoxious about it; that's reason enough.
This is how Soro does all his arguments, he just yells names and quotes at you until you give up because it's not worth it to keep at it.

Looking around (it's not a new trick by any means), Earth Power cuts 1 pp off the cost. That way, you're getting 4pp back for spending 2pp.

You're getting 0.95 pp at a go, statistically speaking.

Or, if you took Enervation Endurance, that increases to 1.55 pp at a go.

3 feats for self-contained recharge with minimal fuss and muss? Sounds good to me!

I could be like you; jumping into a topic just to spit off an ad hominem attack after everything died down for shits and giggles.

So with Meta-Bestow Power, Mindfeeder, Trigger Power, Mental Pinnacle, Wilder with Earth Power, and the forgotten Spectral Savant + Shadow Eft, Dweomer Of Transference, and Body Outside a Body + Fusion combinations make no less than 8 ways to recover or regenerate PP.

Edit - Hmm, Archpsion is another?
Edit2 - No, Innate Power has a daily limitation.
Edit 3 - Mirror of Opposition can be used to multiple your pool sixteen times over too.

Ooh, and there's a little "helper" thing you can do as well!

The Psychic Meditation feat hands you <ML> temporary PP once per day for an hour. You can use that to kickstart PP regeneration even if you'd otherwise be empty.

Body Leech PrC ... is another ... (though it's been a really long time since I looked at that one) ... or maybe it's just Weird and seems like odd gravy.

Dreamtelling feat in HOH ... turns Know(Planes) into Survival when in Dreamscapes.  Better, get a check of 55 and have an Augury Divination(the spell) and/or Commune each time you do the feat !!  And you can semi-spam it.

Reminds me of the time I had a player figure out how to cast contact other planes at no cost unlimited times per day, then started crank calling the gods.

"Odin! Mighty All-Father!"
"..."
"How's it hanging?"

"Loki, I'm kinda stuck. What's a four letter word for flesh, starts with M?"

"Hey Sif! How much flour should I use in these cookies?

Heh.
This isn't quite that bad, but it's in the ball park.
You have to Sleep.
You have to dream (I'd let a cut rate version of the core Dream spell do this).
Then you have to do the ~reading of the dream.

There should be a decent pile of builds available via Skill semi-cheese.
(hello CapQ's evd)
Since you need just a little c.o.-ing and 2 early spells to get fancy effects.

I think the best part is when everyone was laughing and they "called" the god of death and asked, "Hey! What time is it?" And I said with my deepest, dead-pan voice...

"YOURS."

Because it's missing the usual 'modified by any other metamagic feats' clause, invisible spell, (Cityscape p. 61) sets the spell slot usage of any spell it's applied to to the spell's normal level. I know that this is what some call 'stupid RAW', and I agree, but it's fun to contemplate anyway. I'm uncertain of the way it interacts with heighten, but all other metamagic looks good to go.

Quote from: invisible spell
A spell modified using the Invisible Spell feat uses a spell slot of the spell’s normal level.

PS, I hope that this ain't a repeat, but there're thousands of fun finds...

Invisible Spell has been known as +0 for quite a while and there has been a lot of back and forth on how to implement it given the feat description lacks certain rules.  For example, what happens when a Summon Monster spell gets Invisible added to it?  That one usually ends up as "It's a DM call."

I think he was trying to say that you can stack multiple metamagic feats on the same spell, then use Invisible Spell to cast it out of the normal spell slot because "A spell modified using the Invisible Spell feat uses a slot of the spell's normal level."
Unfortunately that doesn't work, because the general rules for metamagic say that "Changes to [a spell's level] are cumulative."  Nothing in Invisible Spell overrides this, so it stands.

Also, none of the metamagic feats in the SRD have the "modified by any other metamagic feats" clause either, just so you know.
I'm not arguing, I'm explaining why I'm right.

What I meant is that it's not merely +0; since it doesn't have the 'modified by other metamagic' bit, it erases other slot adjustments. Heighten actually changes the spell's level, but other MM feat slot adjustments don't affect the spell's level, merely the slot costs.

And again I know that it's 'stupid RAW' and not RAI. It'd be for theoretical optimization, anyway.

iv been reading the Epic feats, looking for Dragonwrought fun....  :eh

anyway, im reading Planar Turning.

it seems like it might be made redundant by a domain power that i havent verified yet... or something...

but the sooner you get the 2 ability scores of 25, you can Destroy outsiders with your basic turn attempt.

i find that hilarious.

You might be thinking of the Turn Anathema spell.  Some optimization of that can be found at http://community.wizards.com/forum/previous-editions-character-optimization/threads/1287371.
