I was in Columbus today to see a friend.  I then drove back tonight, leaving at about 8:45.  It takes roughly 2:30 to get from where I was to my house.  I got home roughly now (12:45).  Math time!  8:45+2:30=11:15.  Wait a second.....where's that extra hour and a half?  Oh, right, it got spent traveling a grand total of 6 miles through Dayton.  That's right, I averaged less than calm walking speed for 6 miles.  And the last 5 of those miles were done in 15 minutes!  So I did about a mile in over an hour!

I was only there for a few hours, my friend's sister is going to graduate school at Ohio State.  I'm back home in Indiana now.  But at somepoint, now that I know someone there, I might go back because it's the only place nearby with affordable NHL games.

Ohio also has two pretty awesome gaming stores, a 32 room bookstore and several world famous restaurants (so if you like tacos, german food, delis, or giant ass hamburgers feel free to visit!).

We actually almost ate at Shmidthaus, but it was too full So we ended up at a random "irish" pub. The only thing Irish was the beer....and only some of it...

Ah that brings me back... to somewhere else completely different.

Imagine a group... a pod, if you will, of about a dozen college kids, 250+ lbs, going to the all you can eat Sun-Moon Chinese buffet.

After an hour the owner came by and slammed the bills down on the table. In the worst Chinese accent ever he said,
"Sign say all-you-can-eat! Not you-eat-all! Pay and get out!"

A moment of silence, then we burst out laughing and paid before leaving.

I like all of those things, and Utah was my favorite place that I've lived.
