I am getting increasingly saddened and frustrated by people pushing me away in the most gratuitous, stupid ways over differing opinions, particularly on social networks such as Facebook.

It's hard enough for me to meet new people as it is. Whenever I do, I tend to embrace new friendships as best as I can. And with even my oldest friends kinda fading into the background, I'm feeling increasingly more lonely...
Go away -- we don't wanna hear about your problems.  Oh, wait -- that's what this page is for, isn't it.  Huh.  Never mind, carry on.
 :P

On a more serious note:
People are douchebags -- it's the exceptions that might be worth your time.  I've come to terms with the fact that being a non-douche is a lonely life.

Fuck.

I think I've stepped into my yearly anxiety/depression period. Guess I have to go out and do stuff even (and especially) if I don't feel like doing them!

Oh, and I think I ate something I'm allergic to, because stomach cramps - either that, or I've just become that hypersensitive to avocados (I didn't even eat one, body! Please don't tell me it's because they didn't use a separate processing surface for the sushi I ate earlier).

I had an awesome dream about Hitler, Aliens, ultra advanced technology and alternate realities, but can't remember the specifics. The specifics were great.

It had something to do with Alien-Human hybridization, the game-changing nature of fusion power in the 1940's, the rise of Hitler as a world leader and the resistance movement resorting to magic in order to fight the advanced technology of the Reich.

It would make for an awesome campaign setting. Jewish Golem armies against alien Nazis.

I had vague dreams about a fragile 7-story house last night.

One of the floors (which was maybe 10 times the height of the other floors) had become infested by jungle.

I debated dragging a bed to the attic (there had to be a bed on each floor. No exceptions.) It was all some sort of metaphor for the sharks all around us.

-----

I seem to remember the dream starting off with a large glass and steel facility, which may have become the house when it got infested by jungle.

I have weird dreams when I feel sick.

I wish I didn't get angry at pointless things so easily. Dumb arrangements in a university department, room changes, incredibly questionable logic... :/

Apparently I will need a new neurologist.  I called medicaid today after leaving a second message at her office.  Told them she was supposed to do a peer to peer explaining the situation and asked what happened.  Got told they tried contacting her several times and quit after no results.  Said if I havent heard from her by friday to file an appeal and they would try contacting her again.

I was in a McD's this last saturnday night --- don't ask.

The hypnosis I was enjoying (or was it suffering from)
was broken when some rowdy near me said:
"so what's up with this uhh ISIS guys?"
I was tempted to say:  "Yinz know about alQaeda?"
... loudly, but luckily it was only a temptation.
The kid had his phone out, it had a google app.
He didn't use it.

I am hollow at the moment.

It hurts a bit.

EDIT:

The onset was finding someone whose opinion was so baffling to me that hollowness is the only response I can give.

Seriously, arguing that it is morally repugnant to have mechanics incentivise certain behaviours? Seriously? Don't they realize that all mechanics are incentives of one kind or another?

I know one person who I will now proceed to unperson in my eyes.

My neurologist and therapist have both apparently disappeard from the earth or are no longer responding to messages.

Also, one of the other recipients of the inheritance i may be getting is starting to become kind of pissy about how long it's taking and is threatening to lead a revolt.

If the estate involves a House
AND there's a disagreement about going forward,
then that part can be locked up in Probate for quite a while.

'Course a lawyer can explain this in 5 minutes, for 1 hour of billing.

6 minutes. Not 5.  ;)

I am appalled by the amount of false information that spreads like wildfire in Facebook. Don't people EVER fact-check before spreading information around like it's the absolute truth?

And trust me, i've corrected people many times... But it appears people don't take well to someone pointing out their stupidity.

But seriously, the way people simply take information for granted is absolutely mind blowing.

The worst part? There's people deliberately producing this false information in order to make one or the other presidential candidate look bad. Things have took such a proportion, that there's people creating fake profiles in Twitter/Facebook and being racist, in order to be able to say "Look, people who support candidate X are such racists/snobs/xenophobes/mysogynists!"

It's abhorrent. And it goes unpunished.

I HATE ELECTIONS.

I just wish i could come up with a better system than democracy, because it's shit. Still better than the alternatives, but still shit.
