[3.5] WotC's Free Adventures?
« on: July 07, 2014, 08:47:20 AM »
I tried googling it but couldn't find anything. Probably WotC dumped it away.

Does anyone have these adventures or know where I can find them?

Thanks

You're in luck - I've been on a tear downloading these myself.  If you give me an email address, I can send them to you, or I could send a PM to the address you gave minmaxboards.

Or as Calico showed me, you can use the Wayback Machine.
Go to http://web.archive.org/web/20091008023202/http://www.wizards.com/dnd/article.asp?x=dnd/oa/oa20010525b and the adventures are listed on the left side.
Or go to the wizards website, get the broken links, and cut & paste them into the wayback machine.

Good luck!  Let me know if it works for you

iirc --- there was some discussion around here (though at BG)
when wotc started deleting a whole bunch of 3e "articles" ;
which looks more at this point like Fluff and Adventures.
They have kept up more (~most?) of the crunch based stuff.

So there should be a decent sized pile of them, at wayback.

Risada - I got your PM and just sent you the adventures.  I had to send it over 5 emails because Yahoo limits the size of attachments.

Someone should probably set up a DropBox or similar to snag them - I know I'd like to get ahold of them as well, if possible.

I could use my work account but I don't think that would go over well.   :lol

I just signed up for dropbox.  I have to go to work soon, but I'll have them up within a couple of days.

You can now download the WOTC Free adventures from my brand spanking new dropbox.  Be the First!

WOTC Free Adventures

Could some try it and let me know if it works?

Also, I included a file called "Please try and delete this and let me know if it works.txt" -- the title says it all, I want to know if others can delete stuff in my public folder.

Thanks.

That link is just dumping me into my own dropbox, even when signed in.

Sorry.  I think I fixed the link now.  I had just copied it from my dropbox, but appearantly I have to get a "share link".  Should be fixed now (I hope)

It's interesting to note about these free adventures .... the vast majority of them are for mid-level play (7th to 13th, ballpark estimate).

I've used quite a bit of them for ad hoc insertion (with a lot of optimization & flavor/fluff tweaking) into campaigns and they are mostly above-average in quality and game balance.
