Coughing and choking on the thick smoke, Galadren does his best to slide a fresh bolt into his weapon through the tears starting to form.
Aware of what happened the last time he got it into his head to circle around the enemy, Galadren nonetheless rushes forward through the smoke, circling around the two drakes. 
As one of the drakes seems him emerging and pulls its head back as if to spit at him, Galadren falls down onto his knees and breaks into a slide, skidding across the floor until he is almost directly behind this smoke-spewing goblin, where he tumbles up to his feet and shoots the little bastard unceremoniously in the back.

Quite vexed by the cloud, Theo tries to summon galeforce whirlwinds to knock his opponents to the ground, but his concentration falters, the winds not picking up enough speed to do what he wants.

Dunor runs out of the cloud, catching his breath and coughing out the dizzying smog. Between coughs, he chokes out, "Kill the Goblin! He laid down this damned smoke!" He then charges the goblin, bringing his sword down with all his might.

Squealing at being slashed by Dunor, the goblin waves it's bone rod, skull bobbling wildly, and the cloud moves to envelope him and his attackers. Then whispering as he moves amongst the greasy cloud, spinning suddenly and pointing the wobbly skull at Galadren.

"I'll get him." shandien growls like thunder, wading in amongst the drake and goblin. With a wave of his blade, sigils fill the air around him and circle the heads of the drake and the hex casting goblin. The hexer falls to the ground slammed by the wave of rippling force.

The cloud slowly disperses.

Shrugging off the burning light, the drake moves away from Shandien sending a wade of acidic spit at the swordmage. The wet projectile splatters across a runic shield surrounding the Genasi.

The other drake continues to send lines of caustic spit at Tanthalus. The wet glob hitting the elf right in the face scalding away flesh.

Galadren grunts as his vision goes dark.
Even blind, however, the elf's nimble fingers are able to reload the crossbow through muscle memory.
Hefting the weapon, the elf tilts his head this way and that, listening to the two remaining beasts as they spew acid at his companions.
Then he cautiously raises his weapon, and after a moment more fires it blindly at one of them.

The bolt streaks off toward one drake but when it soars too high the bolt turns itself midflight and slams home into the second drake. Little biting motes of light swarm the drake, hindering it.

Galadren's sight begins to clear up quickly as the blackness becomes lighters and then shapes quickly begin to take form amongst the room and finally he can see the effects of his crossbow work, shooting at a target to his left but hitting a different target on his right.

Thespias continue his inner tug-of-war to get the storm to obey, when suddenly it yields to his wishes. He finds himself in they eye of the hurricane, his control perfect. He points to the drake, a lightning bolt striking the beast squarely in the head, the volatile energies arcing to its kin. Winds, once reluctant to obey, now slam the drake back into the reach of the swordmage, while they also carry the halfling up and into the room. Theo lands easily, the blazing light in his eyes shining brightly.

Dunor rushes to close the gap with the drakes, deciding to take on the less-wounded of the two. He quickly takes a calculated risk, and slashes with his sword, holding the other end ready to counter should the beast strike back.

The drake shrieks at the slicing blade.

Shandien crackles with lightning and motes of thunder surround him. He unleashes his fury on the drake pushed back toward him and as his blade connects a loud thunderous boom shakes the chamber.

The rumbling continues as he stalks toward the other drake. A less powerful boom follows another swipe of his blade but the swordmages attack is not nearly as strong and it shrugged off by the draconic opponent.

He is just about to sit down for a breather when he hears the scream, which immediately puts him back on alert.

"Dunor - you with me?"

The elf asks as he moves towards the southern door without a second door, clearly intending on kicking it open immediately.

Heaving out breaths from the battle, it is clear Dunor is fatigued from a day full of conflict. He raises his sword to the ready, however, and says, "Of course. Let's save some people! And then take a breather. Save people first, though."

Dunor follows to the door. He holds up a hand first, gesturing for a delay in kicking down the door.

He listens at the door for a moment for just what may be behind it other than a screaming person.
