Dunor blocks the path of the undead before they can surge toward the group. A blast of eldritch power scorches the human and is sears closely past to slam one of the corpses he just slashed, burning a rancid hole through its chest.

The zombies swarm the large warrior, baring down on him trying to drag him tot he floor.

The eyes of the ghouls burn with unholy hunger seeing the living immobile creature. They each rush around the pack and sink their teeth into the hinderd human's flesh. Dunor suddenly ridged as his muscles seize. The second ghoul joins in the garish feast and the zombies reach a frenzy at the sight of living flesh and blood helpless in front of them.

Shandien lunges forward at the pack of undead, his blade flashing in arcing lightning leaving a path of ozone in the air. His whole body seems charges with electrical current.

Galadren grimaces as Dunor is mobbed and torn apart in a handful of seconds.  He had to do something to get the monstrous undeads' attention before they finished the job and peeled all the flesh from his bones.

"Hey brainless, forget about that guy!  How about some fresh meat!?"

Galadren yells as he rushes forward, taunting the nearby lean, intelligent undead standing over Dunor's body.
As it turns to swipe at him, the elf tucks forward into a roll, diving down beneath the arc of the creature's claws and coming back up to his feet beyond the creature's now off-balance reach.  He snaps a bolt off into the back of the creature's head and then races the rest of the way across the room, where he pushes his back up against the wall and pretends to be trapped against it.

Come on you heartless bastards, come get me.

As he turns to move towards the back of the room, Galadren slides another crossbow bolt into place and snaps off a second quick shot over his shoulder, trusting the ethereal gnats to guide it home.

The first bolt sinks into the Ghoul's fleshy side which it notes with a growl but it otherwise unpained by it. Galadren's second shot dissolves into brilliant motes of light they initially pass over its intended target only to stop in midflight and turn live a hive mind of bees and swarm back toward the ghoul.

Dunor sees Dalanath before him in a wave of light slapping him awake before the light diminishes and he is again surrounded by undead. The rigid effects of the ghouls bite still courses through his body and he can't seem to shake it. Suddenly all the undead are blasted flat by a wall of air that surrounds the wounded warrior.

The zombie holding him holding him retains it's tight grasp on him as Theo flies over the group to th eother side of the room. The Large man feels lighter than air for a moment before sinking back to the floor.

The warlock whispers a fiendish curse at one of the ghoul then unleashes a blast of eldritch power at the undead thing, burning it and blasting it away. Tulugaq's rod glows after the blast and the essence of the curse laid upon the destroyed ghoul floats to infuse the ghoul nearby.

The zombies, still intent upon their landed living meal in front of them, ignore the others to try to feast on the man's flesh.

The ghoul looks back and forth and the prey before it and the group that will assuredly descend upon it. Its baser instinct to feed on the living overrides and it sinks it's teeth into the large warrior. lifting its head back at the group with it's rotting sharp teeth covered in even more blood.

Shandien fishes out a javelin and lobs it at the remaining ghoul but it skitters off the floor and stops in the rooms corner at Galadren's feet. Try as he might to be free the swordmage remians petrified from the waist down rooted in place from the undead's sinister touch.

Galadren grimaces as more of the warrior's flesh is torn away by the ravenous undead.

"Are you serious!?  Hey, I said fresh meat over here, asshole!  Get some!"

As he sidesteps around the battle in the middle of the room, Galadren slides a fresh bolt home before coming to stand beside Thespias.  Taking careful aim, he fires at the back of the still moving ghoul's head.

(Not sure if the ghoul stood up on its turn or just continue to lie prone.  For now i'm going to assume he just rolled over on top of Dunor to munch away.

The bolt sinks into the Ghouls back and protrudes from it's chest as it keeps up it's feasting.

Tuugaq's blacked fire soars over the feasting ghoul as it hunches closer to it's prey.

The zombies continue to try to feast on the downed warrior. One finally chews its way past his leathers and finds the soft skin underneath, pulling a large gory chunck of bloodied flesh away in it's mouth hungrily.


The Ghoul sees it's meal being taken by the zombies and swipes at them to keep them away but when it goes to take a large bit from the dying human, the zombies pull the body away and the ghoul smashes it's face on the stone floor instead.

Shandien tries to fight off the effects of the ghouls paralyzing touch while throwing another Javelin. The javelin sinks into the ghoul and finally the swordmage regains feeling in his feet and legs.
