I am reasonably confident that this is a war crime.  You should call the Hague.


P.S.:  this is from someone who totally is not a fan of WoT.  It doesn't really matter on the particular ongoing story, you're invested in it, and they are ruining some of your value of it for reasons that I seriously doubt are good ones, mostly b/c I can't really conceive of what a good one is.

So, the TA for my ProbStat course is a total douchebag who can neither teach nor grade properly.

I mean, I got a 1.5/10 on my last homework assignment... for getting one problem wrong (that wasn't marked as being worth nearly that much). If anyone approaches him and asks for help, he brushes them off by saying that the concept is easy and that clearly you should just try harder.

The class has finally gotten together and have pretty much forced the professor to do something about it. I'll keep you posted.

EDIT: The assignment had 7 problems, all of them of about equal length. I'd understand if it had been one REALLY MASSIVE problem, but that's not the case.

He also gave grades that differed by 50% to two people that did the work together and therefor had the same work on their sheet.

I dunno. It has almost been 2 years since the last book was finished. Spoilers really need a statute of limitations. Also, spoilers may not actually ruin anything, and may make it better

Of course, if he did it just to bug you... that may be different. Out of curiosity, what point did he spoiler?

by the time you get to the end you'll have read so much conflicting and useless stuff... there'll be a good chance you forget it was spoiled

So, somebody just told me about the end of Man of Steel; and I must say that I'm more than a little pissed (and no, not because "spoiler").
No bullshit -- the very idea that the Christopher Reeves version of Superman doesn't have any traction in today's culture seriously hurts my heart.  I think just that really says a lot about us as a people; and none of it good.



Speaking of spoilers:
So, way back when, I went and saw Sixth Sense on opening weekend.  The next weekend we went to see another movie, I did a quick pop-in into a theater where Sixth Sense was just starting, and yelled out really loud a couple of times:

Couldn't he just slide over to Spanish, and use almost all of what he's gotten from Latin so far?
