I used to live in Germany, England I imagine isn't too far off.  Rain... so much rain.  Holy crap the rain.

Screw the cold, bring on the heat!  Really, lack of heat is the only thing keeping me from moving up to the progressively nicer north.
Mudada.

The UK gets the gulf stream. Scotland gets having mountains*. The whole place gets 'right next to the Atlantic with the wind pushing stuff towards us'.

*Gorgeous scenery, though.

Looks like they owe you some credit ..... say, at least a month.
They may try to wiggle out of it at first; but if you persist, you should be able to get it.

Feel free to threaten them with spreading bad press.  Heck, spread bad press anyway.

Alternatively, release the hounds and tear them limb from limb in a glorious blood frenzy.
Mudada.

The US is awesome.  The environment is anyways.  That's why Canada is so awesome.  The geography of the good parts of the US (the north), but without the political and economic BS.  Well, less of it anyways.

Northern US is like the UK with worse temperatures and slightly less rain, probably.

What do you mean by worse temperatures?  Maine gets the Gulf stream too...and so does all of New England and SE Canada.  Maine is gorgeous.  The temperatures are great (not too hot summers, not too cold winters), and the snow is amazing.

The uk has rather mild tempratures for how northerly we are, (the entire of the UK is at least 50 miles north of the US/Canada border) because of the gulf stream. We do however have silly amounts of rain.

Its really is excessive in parts of the uk.... Dartmoore in cornwall gets like 2000mm rain a year (183 days a year)

It's amazing how little many aficionado's of D&D/PF still know about game balance. There is a game brewing on another board which will have all PCs be high level wizards. The DM approved all of the Tome of Necromancy undead creation feats (which are all like Leadership on crack) with no questions asked, but was wary of the Reserve feats and said he "reserves the right to veto" any that seem problematic...  :banghead

I see no way that this game won't end in a giant, flaming crater (or worse)...  :lol

Oh yes... I am not applying to/playing in it. I don't have the time to build and play a high level wizard... so much book keeping... even if I thought it would be a good game...

I just looked something up, and...

Yep, the city I go to uni in is overcast 211 days out of the year.

That's just a tad excessive, amirite?

The blisters appears to be spreading, so it would seem I'll be going on antiviral drugs before it reaches an eye.  I swear I think I'd get more prompt medical attention if I were in jail.

It'd be easy after all.  All I have to do is approach random street people and begin conversation with "Greetings Sir or Madam, if I might ask an impertinent question, might your body have any orifices potentially receptive to the introduction of my penile entity?"

Anti-viral stuff exists? I thought they were generally impervious to pharmacological intervention.

They don't destroy viruses so much as inhibit their growth or slow their progression.

Most people you'd meet on the street wouldn't even know what that means. :P

On an entirely different note... the gender symbols for GitP bug me.

I mean, you have male, female, female-to-male, male-to-female, intersex, and unstated.

Wouldn't someone whose female-to-male just put male, and male-to-female just put female? I mean, given that you can essentially look like whatever you want, wouldn't throwing on a reminder of the hateful nature of your fleshy shell as part of your profile just be... weird?

Never quite got the rationale for that.

Fleshy shells are important, though. You need them to enjoy food. And type.

But flesh rots and sheds.  That's why I recommend upgrading to inorganic technology.  Whether it's a titanium plated cyber battle frame, or the cuddly softness of my own 100% cotton exterior, the Construct type is truly the superior life experience.  And if you call now, I'll throw in a free laser cannon with your cyber-upgrade.
Mudada.

I don't know about that. I'm positive that when the technology arrives that makes it possible to transfer your consciousness into a virtual environment, there's going to be R&D going on into transferring that technology to an undying android body that's capable of experimenting all the things your fleshy shell can.

I'd love to live in an undying android body.
