No right, certainly the Taliban are massively more horrible and as much all the time as they can be.
However the Talibs weren't sitting around a campfire doobs in hand, giggling about wouldn't it be neat if the aliens could see what we think is important.
I was focusing on the general category of protesting something at the expense of a cultural heritage thing.

Merry Christmas everybody  :hug including the people I've fubar'd things with this year.

My kitty avatar's Tail likes to do X-mas carols like an Elvis Impersonator.  I've have no idea how that works.

All I want for Christmas is a cool girlfriend and enough money to become Batman, is that too much to ask?

I've never been more annoyed at an electronic device in my life. As soon as I can, I'm going to switch to my 4yr old phone.

- 1st. The phone basically freezes every couple of minutes.
 - 2nd. It can't load any programs or EVEN THE HOME SCREEN 75% of the time.
 - 3rd. Previously, it takes 3 times to send a single damn text.
 .
 - I've tried hard reboot several times, and even that takes 60sec to turn the phone off, instead of 2-3sec... Nope.
 - I've tried to check the background tasks and stop dumb programs from running.... Nope.
 - Tried looking online for any sort of previously asked Qs... Nope.
 - I even checked into the insurance plan to see if 'losing' my phone would allow me to get a different phone... Nope.
 - Next, talk to Verizon in person, since I'm out in the middle of nowhere.

Lesson? Stick to what phone OS you know, and hope that phone isn't a piece of shit.

I sooo can't wait for march, I can get my new 'free' phone.

p.s.- its an HTC Windows 8x

Got to see a massive Ice Bow today.
Only the Orange and Yellow part were visible
but it was huge. Like bigger than the Sun.
Smidge of green against the purple clouds.
Bright too, like maybe 1/10th of the Sun.
I had to wear shades to view it.

Thanks for showing me some of your sugar.

Contemplating the possibilities for therapy.  The specific kind I might need will be...  Interesting to get a hold of given I'm in Utah, but we'll see how it goes.  I'm not yet up for talking here about what I'd be going for (other than mental stuff, but that's a duh because therapy) but know that it's not life-threatening if I don't get it, as best I can tell.  Yeah, I'm depressed and do randomly start crying but I won't be suicidal.  And no, it's not quite the depression that I'd be getting therapy for.

Hang in there, Jack. As someone undergoing intensive therapy myself, I'll be rooting for you. And as always, my inbox is open if you want to talk.

There's a lot of lawsuits and abuse involving therapists in Utah.   Be very careful who you see.  And for gods sake avoid attachment therapy or wilderness therapy.

I'll keep that in mind, though the kind of therapy or counseling I'm thinking about would most likely be through a psychologist now that I've looked at more stuff and talked with people who had similar issues.  Just sitting there in an office talking about things and seeing if I can figure out more of who I am, why I'm this way, and how to move forward with that info.

With a move to the petty: I have a headache. I've tried ibuprofen, Tylenol, caffeine, water, a 30-minute nap, and even some of the essential-oil-stuff-to-the-temples that my crazy co-workers like. It won't go away. It's not debilitating or anything, just a constant pulsing on either side of my head that makes everything fuzzy and unpleasant.

So, yeah.

It was OK for my last physical a year ago. But yeah, that's probably a good idea. I kinda just think that its chronic sleep deprivation - but I'm old enough that scary things are a real possibility.

Which sucks.

It also sucks that life (for everyone) is such that I feel guilty for complaining about a stupid headache.

Headaches can be signs of worse things.  Granted if it isn't 'the worst headache ever' you might be ok.  If you had salty food and you are sodium sensitive it could've just upped your bp.  Lack of sleep will def do it too.
