It doesn't say, but I was thinking that it would function like a Ghoul's attack (1d4+1 rounds).  The Tentaculat would most likely stay attached to a target until target is successfully impregnated (See page 72 in the X-Com D20 manual under Species Traits)

Do you think the mental stats are too low or the skills are too limited?

Just a little bit higher, like a 16 or 17 on Intelligence.  As for skills they just need a boost by 1 or 2 points and they will be perfect.  Other than that, it's looking great.

Search primarily.  I am thinking of Survival and the feat Track, going with the fact that they hunt down their enemies.  But mainly Search.

Very good I love it!  A note about the concussive damage, that is an actual damage type from D20 Modern done by things like rockets and explosives.  Sorry about the confusion.

Next up, the Triscene; a two legged Dinosaur.
                  Triscene         Civilian
Time Units                   72            35
Health                         158            30
Energy                         80            65
Reactions                   69            30
Strength                      120            20
Bravery                      90            80
Front Armour            120            0
Left Armour                   110            0
Right Armour              110            0
Back Armour            110            0
Under Armour                8            0
Energy Recharge             40            20
Intelligence                  3            1
Firing Accuracy             80            30
Throwing Accuracy          80            50
Melee Accuracy                80            50

These creatures are basically walking weapons platforms (definitely Large sized).  It's kind of funny watching them traverse the battle field, until you remember that they are literally walking tanks.

Triscene
Damage Type       Vulnerability
Armour Piercing    90%
Phosphor       90%
High Explosive       90%
Gauss          80%
Sonic          90%
Freeze (Stun)       90%
Drill          110%
Electric Shock       0%

Mildly resistant to everything, nothing too impressive.
Description from game:
Triscene
This bipedal reptile is a throwback to the age of the Dinosaurs. It seems to be a Cretaceous creature in every sense save its ability to survive in water and on land. These creatures are slung with weapons pods and have a jaw lined with metallic teeth.

Often these monsters have been at the core of the alien attack forces as the Aliens launch assaults upon the land.

A heavyweight and potent weapon, the Lobster men commanders deploy them with lethal efficiency.

http://www.ufopaedia.org/images/7/7c/Triscene.png
Despite what the description says, the Triscenes normally are found with the Tasoths.

Triscene Autopsy
Once subjected to the scientist's knife the Triscene reveals that it is an ancient creature, supplemented with cybernetic implants and weapons systems.

Its tiny brain is supplemented by a small computer module mounted in the control harness all the creatures wear.

A tough natural skin, a predatory instinct enhanced by additional weapons makes this a lethal opponent in all environments.
http://www.ufopaedia.org/images/6/6d/TrisceneAutopsy.png

So basically it's a remote control dinosaur.  With powerful twin Sonic Cannons mounted on its back.  And metal teeth (VERY sharp).
I would probably say the Triscene is True Neutral (like most dinosaurs) or the alignment of its controllers.
They are amphibious.

For something that looks like a large jellyfish, it sure is pretty tought and smart.  And brave.
"These large Jellyfish are deadly, and can take a surprising amount of damage. Can swim. Only on submerged missions with Aquatoids. "

Hallucinoid
Damage Type       Vulnerability
Armour Piercing    60%
Phosphor       170%
High Explosive       70%
Gauss          80%
Sonic          100%
Freeze (Stun)       100%
Drill          60%
Electric Shock       0%

As you can see just like a lot of the other aliens, it is immune to electricity.  It is, however, weak to phosphor (a.k.a. fire).

Description from game:
Hallucinoid
Having harvested the oceans the aliens have bred these huge Earth creatures as a weapon. Do not be lulled into a false sense of security when facing these harmless looking sailors of the deeps.

Possessed of a formidable, ranged, freezing blast and a close combat icy strike, the Hallucinoid is a deadly foe.
http://www.ufopaedia.org/images/a/a1/Hallucinoid.png

"The Hallucinoid is a large floating terror unit that primarily attacks with a lethal "cold-based" melee attack. It also has a ranged attack, but due to a bug, the ranged weapon does not work underwater. Because Hallucinoids are rarely encountered on land via conventional means, this is almost never experienced. "
This creature would often hang back and "watch" and I often wondered why it never used its ranged attack.  It was because of a programming bug.  The ranged attack was supposed to be a stunning attack (probably to capture live prey/victims/whatever) (there is more story behind the ranged attack, but it is long and it doesn't really help in developing the creature).  For an example of what it's ranged attack was; pretty much a Mini-Grenade Launcher on page 15 in D20 X-Com - UFO Defense.  Difference is that this is a part of the Hallucinoid's body (not a gun grafted on)9like a special organ) so it didn't really need ammo, but the projectile it shoots out functions like the Concussion Grenade (page 15 as well)(Not concussive though).  Probably usable like a breath weapon (every 1d4 rounds).  Also its damage it does is supposed to be cold as well (non-lethal cold damage?).

Hallucinoid Autopsy
Nested in the many layers of the gelatinous body of this organism is a powerful chemical freezer, its main offensive capability. The soft and supple skin of the Hallucinoid seems susceptible to heat based attacks. Often this mutant is found in the company of its masters, the Aquatoids.
http://www.ufopaedia.org/images/5/5d/HallucinoidAutopsy.png

The Hallucinoid is probably Lawful Evil (it works for the Aquatoids).  I would say neutral, but it the animal it used to be has been warped and made larger and smarter (calculating even).  It still resembles a large version of it's animal form, so the best description would probably be an Abberation or a Magical Beast.  Aquatic only and large.

Feats and skills are great.  Is the ranged attack causing trouble?  Great touch on the fire weakness btw!   :clap

No trouble for ranged attack, just hadn't included it yet since their using it seems incredibly difficult at best being as they cant use it in water, but cant breathe in air.

That was due to a programming bug.  The programmmers got the code for the Hallucinoid's ranged attack (wrong environment) and the Biodrone's melee attack (forgot to give it accuracy) messed up.  it was supposed to be usable under water.  By the way, the Biodrone will be next.

                  Bio-Drone        Civilian
Time Units                   80            35
Health                         140            30
Energy                         120            65
Reactions                   40            30
Strength                      120            20
Bravery                     100            80
Front Armour            25            0
Left Armour                   15            0
Right Armour              15            0
Back Armour            10            0
Under Armour                5            0
Energy Recharge             40            20
Intelligence                  7            1
Firing Accuracy             90            30
Throwing Accuracy   0            50
Melee Accuracy                0 (this is an error)50

As you can see they set the melee at 0.  Originally it was supposed to be just the throwing accuracy, but the programmer goofed.  It actually has a melee attack and when it hits IT'S POWERFUL.
"Functionally identical to the Cyberdiscs of the First Alien War, except miniturised for indoor-use, Bio-Drones are terribly dangerous. They are fast and possess very deadly and accurate projectile attacks, can fly, and destroying them will usually cause a large explosion. The latter is especially annoying in Shipping Route Terror Missions, which are full of small rooms and cramped corridors.
Bio-Drones are, along with the Tentaculats, the most powerful Terror units deployed by the Aliens in the Second Alien War. What's worse, they accompany the two most powerful Alien Races: Lobster Men and Tasoth. "
Bio-Drone
Damage Type       Vulnerability
Armour Piercing    100%
Phosphor       60%
High Explosive       60%
Gauss          70%
Sonic          90%
Freeze (Stun)       90%
Drill          145%
Electric Shock       0%

These things are tough, fast and scary.  If taken out by anything other than melee, it goes off like a mini nuke (for an example, look at the Death Throes on a Balor in the Monster Manual 1, only 15d6 points of damage reflex dc 15 save for half)(30 ft radius).
Description from game:
Bio-Drone
The Bio-Drone is a creation only an alien mind could conceive of. It is a brain, (human or alien) suspended in amniotic fluids and connected to a powered base unit that can fly on land or below water.

Each Bio-Drone is armed with a powerful auditory disruptor, part machine and part organism. Some of our scientists have suggested that the weapon is driven by the host organisms original vocal cords. Highly accurate and tenacious these super guard dogs are widely used by the aliens to protect valuable assets.
http://www.ufopaedia.org/images/0/08/BioDrone.png A link to how it looks.
For the ranged weapon, you might want to use the stats from the Plasma Rifle, only change the Fire Damage to Sonic Damage.  Also it basically creates its own ammo.  They are probably small sized (the mini-hover saucer itself).

Bio-Drone Autopsy

The hypothesis that the auditory disruptor is a biological device are true. This unfortunate creature literally screams its enemies to death. Every example has massive surgical trauma scars and is severely mutilated. The aliens appear to butcher the brain into obedience.

Most of the brains used in the creatures are alien in origin, but nothing can compare to the horror of finding a human based unit. The Bio-Drones are powered by an ION engine and incorporate some form of remote control system.

http://www.ufopaedia.org/images/4/4f/BioDroneAutopsy.png
Yeah...that autopsy report is a bit mindblowing...anywho.  They don't need to breath, eat whatever.  They are at least part construct, part abberation (how would that work?)
The Bio-Drone is probably Lawful Evil due to the fact that it is a brain in a jar dominated by technology and surgery.  They can exist in any environment.

Okay if you like Hallucinoids as I have them now will move on to Bio Drones.  I'm thinking of making them undead or constructs.
