Are we rolling for HP, average, max, something else?

See my post a few pages back regarding Osle's typical character generation rules, which he approved. HP are max at first level, and all HD thereafter are either average or rolled (no mixing the two).

Full first level, then either roll OR take average.

Gahhh, I want to do the Kython Char but can't decide between Impaler and Viscerator. Are a few poison utilities worth the 3 level gap I could fill with something like Monster of Legend or some additional Titanic levels.

Either way I'm gonna be a good combat-stealth blend, but utility vs specialization....

I came up with 718,900 spent.

Ols does group initiative and I'm sitting at 1d20+25 so you can forgo worrying about that. You have FoM, what about Death Ward (DW)? I think you need higher Saves too, I don't think anything broke +25. Other than that... Hey I don't see any pants. :p

Okay, I redid my math and you had missed a single entry but I'd somehow been over ten thousand off so hopefully that's all fixed now.  Thanks.

Yeah, I'm not worried about initiative, I knew somebody else would take care of that.  I'm going to get the equivalent of Death Ward from a module (same basic concept as a soulmeld), the same with the ability to do force damage with my ranged weapon.

Hmm, my saves seem comparable with the rest of the group's except for you and the Allip, but I guess 25 does seem a little low for a level 20 character.  I found a cheap way to bump them up by one.

I'm curious, where are you getting the good subtype?

Wonder if I can squeeze some sort of healing into mine. Maybe FoM. Weapon special properties, except maybe Bane, aren't really so handy for me, so I can just knock down the Grimoire for more funding. Hm.

I knew I had forgotten something. I've got fast heal 10, which is nice, but I need to come up with some sort of burst healing for emergencies.

I don't really have much cash handy, so a staff is really out (I could ask Os for an OK to make the beguiler into a Cha class instead of an Int class, but I like getting my Int to all my saves - it's worth keeping the way it is). I think the best way would be to get Harm into my spell list, which works because Destruction is an Orcus domain (at least in some of his fluff; Orcus has 3 different sets of domains that I can find, I guess I should officially check whether I can have the version of Orcus with both Destruction and Undead as domains).

But then I'll have to lose a feat. I can't lose Iron Will or Spell Focus (Enchantment), those are taxes for a PrC. I don't want to lose Empowered Ability Drain, Life Sense, Ghostly Grasp, Arcane Disciple (Undead). That leaves Versatile Spellcaster, Positive Energy Resistance, or Chain Spell. I'm inclined to lose chain spell - metamagic is just less useful for a spontaneous caster. Thoughts/suggestions?

If you take Harm I can have the ability to be healed by negative energy, I don't have much input beyond that though.  I'm not going to have any burst healing.

Edit: Nevermind, had an idea but don't want to pursue it.

Edit edit: Do we need group wide unlimited out of combat healing?

I'm a skillmonkey nuke, not really a monster. I cannot heal for shit. Or take much damage. And Rings of Regeneration are expensive and ridiculously bad. :P

I think everyone else is fine, just wondering what I can do about that.

Lesser Holy Transformation and the evil version is how I get my face-punching beard.

Sounds like a no then (which works for me, it simplifies things a lot).

Yeah, I'm mostly just worried about healing for me because it can be tricky when you rely on negative energy. Fast heal was easy enough to pick up with all those templates and such to pick through, but sometimes 10/round just won't cut it.

Harm should work well, it's a good offensive spell too. The clearing conditions is kinda pointless, as I'm immune to pretty much everything there (there may be a few instances where I can be dazzled/dazed by a non-mind affecting or object affecting effect) but deafness.

I think I'll get rid of chain spell and just not worry about any metamagic. Hopefully if we all avoid metamagic cheese, then the bad guys will too.  :bigeyes

This is why I'm not preparing the 9th's. It would start a bad, bad arms race if I'm walking around with those things all the time. D:

Especially Disjunction. That's mostly an anti-AMF plan.

If we're playing "Os won't do bad things unless we do first" then SorO is going to open some of those doors anyway.   :p

Well, that's the normal game. If we start doing dirty things, so do the enemies.

I've got that too. Kinda works as a panic button. I hope never to need to use it.
