Pretty sure any weapon the Thoonians have that will kill kill an extraplanar being will be in use at the entrances to the infernal realms.

But in the event the unlikely occurs, I have a secondary build I'd love to get a chance to use.

Fun idea too. Dvati Vampire Lord. Mixing Blood+ with Touhou. Not sure how I'd get my own Manor, Hoard space is too small for that.

Edit
Genesis, 5K xp a pop and exists only in the Astral Plane. And you have to self-furnish it. Permanent place though.

Mage's Mansion is free to make and portable. However it is a new mansion each time which kind of kills much of the utility. (Like storing your Hoard or having minions inside)

Also, the campaign would start with you choosing what key Elder Brain to strike first. The options in my mind for starters are:
-Celestia Pool: Once the Mind flayers figured out how to turn off the local sun, the silver sea is a wonderful place for growing their tadpoles in mass, along with other experiments that demand lots of liquid. Bahamut's skeleton has been turned into a theme park.
-Ysgard Bio-lab complex: where the Mind Flayers perform their greatest experiments in breeding of new mutant species, taking advantage of all the extra vitality around. You can also eat somebody's brain and it will regenerate the next!
-Mechanus Thoon factories: churning out the latest mind flayer technologies for the last decades. Now with at least 20% organic and bio-degradable components!
-Acheron Arena: where the Mind Flayers drill their armies against each other, as well as holding skirmish competitions between elite teams and duels between champions that are broadcast to all the other planes. Glory and gold for the winners! Humiliation for the losers! All the adrenaline around gives the brains an exquisite taste.

And in all of those Mind Flayers have transported around slaves of numerous races from other places, so you never know who or what you may find anywhere.

Yeah Ketaro. Amusement Park definitely sounds like the place to begin. Not to mention there are lots of Tadpoles to squish and fry.

I can't think of anyplace better to start.

I hope that's not sarcasm because killing boiling deep-frying oceans full of babies is totally up my ally. Mmmmmmm, adorably delicious

Crush their spawning grounds first so they can't repopulate. Even if we fail in the long run, they'll slowly die out on their own! Clearly this makes sense! Mental stats are my dump stats! BUT DELICIOUS SEAFOOD

I'm actually quite serious. Slaughtering tons of Illthid spawn will certainly get the point across. Plus I'd like to get a piece of Bahamut's bone or tooth fragment as a souvenir.

And don't feel too bad. Mentals are my dump stats as well. Although Changed Innocence means I'll have a decent Cha for my Monster of Legend; Faith Prophet spells.

Awesome! I'm so good at selling "kill the children" plans apparently!

I also suddenly have 30k and an empty belt slot and can't figure out where to put the money.....
I don't want to fallback onto an animated shield either just cause that slot is also open....It's boring :x

Killing the tadpoles sounds good. I can do +26 Craft (Cooking) checks, so you can get your deliciously cooked illithid babies. :P

I dunno. Aren't we supposed to start a revolution too? Opening up with the slave armies training in the arena seems like a good starting option.

If we start a major revolt, we could get some cover when we go fry up a bunch of craw-babies.

Only way I can think of to start a revolt is to go to the Ethereal and find the Gith.

Only way I can think of a revolt is dropping a radio in the lake to revoltage some babies.

Well, what I'd like to do is Wis-drain an elder brain into a coma (Reducing its will save), hold out until all of its various buffs run out, then slap it with some Geas, domination, etc. The revolution begins when the Illithid civil war starts.

If it turns out that its totally immune to mind control and not just under some mind-blank effect, then we kill it, raise it as undead, and let Orcus worry about it.

There's got to be a animate dead spell somewhere that lets them keep racial features, SLAs, etc. I seriously considered running a dread necromancer, but it was easier to get Int to saves without losing caster levels than it was to get Cha to saves. And I don't know my necromancy and conjuration nearly as well as I know my illusion and enchantment.

Problem with reanimation is anyone can Rebuke it and Domination has limits. What you do is become the elder brain thereby gaining your own thoon army to crush Orcus.

And anyone else who stands in your way.

Damn, they're taking their sweet time preparing our new forum.

Only way I can think of to start a revolt is to go to the Ethereal and find the Gith.

Silly Raineh, the Gith aren't in the Astral Plane yet. They are the main component of the mutant slave armies of Thoon. :p

Orcus just shed a tear of pride. That's made of acidic toxic lava. Anyway "anyone else who stands in your way" is still a crapload of people, including the other elder brains with their own Thoon armies. What, you thought they had completely centralized their chain of command?

Huh, so we're at the end-of-time Illithid-takeover scenario, before Gith got their freedom and the Illithids decided causality was a pain? :lmao

By the time we're finished. Yes.

I can see the reasoning for going to the arena. But well...amusement park. It has to have a slave labor force as well.

And slaughtering a bunch of Illthid spawn should have a good effect on our reputation.

Either way I want to see a currently extraplanar Illthid try and banish me, only to meet my spell turning.
