Edit: Wait, nvm guys, I figured it out.  :tongue All hail to the Internet Wayback  Machine
Just checked it -- slow as shit, and the filters don't work.  But otherwise, good-to-go.

I meant that I figured out how to download the app and import the database from the cached copy, actually. Oh well, looks like it doesn't matter any more anyway. Thanks to the kind anon.
Oh shit - you can still get the app from the archive?  SWEET!

I have problems too. When i open the link, the new window says "page not found". Is there a way to get the database on a Windows pc?

Outside of re-hosting the site, is there a good way to search the site-rip?

It'd definitely be nice to have a new one; more so if it had some minor editing ability like to make suggestions and such.

It also needs First Party Unofficial, Third Party Official, and Dragon/Dungeon Magazine content added to it still.

First Party Unofficial like web only stuff?  That'd be interesting to try, yeah.

One of the things I've wanted to do for it was list Prestige Classes that feats are required for.  Like when looking at the Power Attack page, Blackguard and various other Prestige Classes would be listed at the bottom since PA is a prerequisite for those classes.

Dragon Mag has some overlap with the official 1st Party stuff, but it'd be doable.  Come to think of it, I've been meaning to create an index listing all Dragon Mag feats and such if it's feasible.

Dragonlance is First Party, even though it lacks the D&D official content Logo.  By contrast you have Kingdoms of Kamalar which is third party, but is considered official D&D content.

what we actually need is a browser extension / add on.

the db is 'out there' and can be updated/redistributed...

by using an add on your results will be much faster than an internet page load (theoretically) and not subject to take down requests.

Hi Ho.

Question 1: Anyone still not get a copy from somewhere?
Question 2: Is there any "Build your own Searchable Desktop Web Pages" software out there?

I figure adding a search feature to the information is impossible at this point. So the plan is to make a new set of info that is designed to be downloadable to your desktop and simply add the information from D&D tools to it. However, honestly, I've been away from coding for so long I'm really out of the loop. You know, I always wanted to merge my EVD with something like CB lite.

Oh, TiddlyWiki looks nice, but really isn't as compatable for what I want to do. Frankly I hate that everything needs to open in the same window.

If you have questions about 3.5 D&D, you might want to look at the:

I rehosted it on my mediafire account.

Note that Sweden made some police raids this week so that may have contributed to the anonfiles website going down, as it was hosted in that country.

Hello, friends! I bring tidings of joy.

Look at what i found on reddit:

Some of our more tech savvy members might be happy to know this, so, i'm sharing.

They're back up.  Or at least someone is hosting a copy.  Should I post a link, or do you think that would endanger them?

Edit: filters do not appear to be working yet

Edit again: May wish to hold off a bit.  My host process tried to alter my firewall settings while i was visiting.  It's not necessarily them, but it bears looking into.

Well, if you can ascertain if it's safe I'd like a link.

Havent been able to do that yet, though if you're curious and have protection just google something like 'Beget Bogun spell' and it should show up.
