I don't like Sangehirn, unless you intentionally want the specifics of it.
It has this restricter in both the 3.0e version and the 3.5e version.
" ... The sangehirn can choose powers from the sangehirn power list below only ... "
That bolded "only" is a nasty one.
That said, the 3.0e version has 1st level with +1 festing.

Ah, but a Erudite only "chooses" two powers a level. The rest are learned via XPs. Yeah, never take the class with anything else. If you're resigned yourself to getting powers via XPs or using Scrolls/power stones for your power selection, then it's hardly a limit.

Fast healing and DR are nice for any gish. A defensive gish, considering he's basically gonna get whumped on. Hence the Abjurant Champion variant. Boost up that AC, turn yourself into a damage sponge.

Yup, PsiAC for AC and then get a psicrystal and manifest Share Pain and Vigor with it.

Damn, now I want to make a gish like that.  Of note is I've only found Inertial Armor and Force Screen to work with the Psijurant Champion, but they're nice core powers anyway.

Hm, both are Psychokinesis.  Perhaps the psionic version of Abjurant Champion should be Kinetic Champion?  And then instead of abjuration spells it's psychokinesis powers that benefit from Extended and Swift manifesting.

Arcane Boost could be done by simply expending PP for equivalent level spells.  Expend 5 PP like a 3rd level power to get +3 to the various stats.  By Jove, I think we've got it!  And damn, now I feel compelled to make a handbook for official class variants and how they'd be best implemented.

Yes, the limited powers is an issue, but remember the base is going to be the CStP Erudite. He's got Abjuration "spells", so it dove tails nicely.

Right now the front runner builds are:

Erudite 5/Sangehirn 10/PsiAbjChamp 5
(Energizer bunny)

Erudite 5/Constructor 10/Ectopic Adept 5
(Spammer)

Erudite 5/Magical trickster (psionic) 3//Mindbender 1/metamind 6/Arch Psion 5
(Super Metapsionic manipulation)

A very questionable view of if an Erudite counts as casting 2nd level arcane spells
Erudite 3/Warlock 1/Cerebremancer 10/Something 6 with Monastic Training/Tashalatora
(Clawlock Not-Monk)

Erudite 3/Binder 3/Anima Mage (psion Variant) 10/Shadow Mind 4
(Subpsionic Binder)

I'm not quite sure, but I think I can make the Subpsionic combine with the Psi-Spell feat Dual-Summons and binding to make for some freaky things.

Very questionable.

Anyrate, if anyone's got any Base Erudite suggestions, I'm all ears. but I think I might have found all the good/weird ones.

PS
Well and Erudite 5/Shadow Mind 4/Grim Psion 10/Mindbender 1
But other then just being f'n EVIL, I don't know what the point is.

You only need one level of binder to get into anima mage if you take the improved binding feat (gives +2 EBL)

The Meditant is kinda interesting if you're running with an Ardent - sure, they lose the first ML (which fails your test) and require four feats to enter... but they can get some crazy boosts (+6 untyped bonus to all my mental ability scores for an hour? +5 Morale bonus to one Save, +3 morale bonus to the others?)... and they get a feature that allows themselves to become indefinitely Ethereal 3/day.

And they have a 9/10 progression. Just to toss that out there.

Metamind is pure, unadulterated garbage.  It trades access to higher level powers in return for having fewer power points.  Someone wasn't capable of doing fucking first grade addition. In either edition.   :banghead

Assuming no capstone abuse that is correct. However, if you abuse it with temporal reiteration metamind is one of the most powerful PrCs in existence. Either way its broken.

Is Hyperconscious from Dreamscarred Press allowed?  They're the same people who made the Expanded Psionics Handbook.

If so, check out the Ghostbreaker PrC.  It just seems the best full manifesting PrC from that book.  It's the only full manifesting PrC from that book!

These PrCs from Hyperconscious advance manifesting at level 1, and may have a breakpoint before the end of the class:

-Awakened Dreamer

-Colorless Adept

-Metamind (yes, Metamind - page 156)

hmm ... y'know ... I think I'm gonna change my mind on this.
Erudite 7 with PsyRef and then go Sangehirn 3,
is only a limit on the easy access top level powers.
(provided you like the Sang list)
Everything else gets in via EK looping, like normal.
Erudite 7 / Sangehirn 7 still has the basic problem.

Found another PrC buried down at the bottom of this page:
the Seradessian Covert
http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20040227a
(which weirdly enough, I couldn't navigate with google chrome)

Easy entry, 5/5 festing, ok-ish levels 1 and 3 abilities,
the level 5 ability is very good for sneaking.
edit ... like Trapfinder class 1 / Erudite 7 / SeraC 5
