THat's not a haiku.  Everyone knows all haikus end with "it's snowing on Mount Fuji"

The beginning is
it's snowing on Mount Fuji
ending and middle.

I thought all haikus must end in "refrigerator"

Nope. My folks threatened to call the police, even. I completely snapped with my ex-gf. I never once touched her physically, mind you. But i snapped real good. I gave her a good talking to afterwards, too. She'll be traumatized for the rest of her life, probably. She was never ever treated like this before. I know this for a fact. She's usually the one to snap and put her foot down, and step on other people. Nope. Not with me she's not.

Came this close to going physical though. I tell you that. A hair more and i'd gone caveman. I'd bet anything she's not ever going to step down on people like that ever again. She'll never be this bitchy or make those kinds of remarks. She now knows that sometime, somewhere, someone out there won't show the restraint i did and will beat her down for it.

Got a good mark on my wall too to show where i threw the glass ashtray. Made a good dent on the wall. I could've easily done more, but i still want to do things with my life, and i'm not going to throw it all away because of some two-faced bitch who doesn't know better.

I'm drinking my brains out right now. I scared her good. I did it out of love. She'll never go back to me, but she'll be happier long term now that she has experienced it. She now knows. She knows her actions don't go without consequence. She knows she'd better be happy for what she has, she shouldn't put anyone down. Or she'll be put down.

I'd suggest something more meditative than drinking. Something like picking some locks?

Still, the lesson is learned but the damage is done. Except that, in this case, I'd imagine the damage is the lesson.

Indeed, it's the lesson. More to her than to me, because the lesson was already learned. I was stubborn enough to think differently... But shoudn't have.

I should not be having indigestion, body. I haven't eaten anything - you shouldn't still be complaining about what I ate over twelve hours ago.

I get that all the time - horrendous acid reflux.  Like, take rust off a car bumper stomach acid :P

Drunk again, because life hasn't gotten any better.

Hey, at least you can afford booze. I've been terrifyingly sober for longer than I care to contemplate.  :nonono

I have a refrigerator drawer full of booze & cheerleader beer.

Choosing not to drink is one of the best things you can do for your self.

I'm getting frightengly close to being labelled an alcoholic, family already takes about staging an intervention...

Addiction is a response to a shitty environment. If your family really thinks it's reaching the point of alcoholism they should stage an intervention to address the cause of your drinking, not just tell you to stop.

And you can tell them a random dude on the internet said so. :p

Those reoccurring sequence of events that happen in the dips of depression where the thought of making an effort to update your bloody play-by-post games fill you with stress to the point that you avoid it for two days... let alone do anything else productive. I have good days and I have bad days. Right now it's the latter.

Gonna watch the Princess Bride for the first time and then pass out. Hope tomorrow is gonna be better.

-----

A few days later:
Good movie. Mindset is better. PbP's are up-to-date, even managed to get applied for one where I can play a Binder (one of my favourite classes).
Today is a good day.

My dad has passed away.  Last night, in his sleep, he suffered a bout of sleep apnea.  I knew something was wrong when the cats hadn't been fed, so I went to see if he was still there.  He had been dead for at least 2 hours.  He had his favorite last night for dinner, steak and potatoes, and his other the night before, crab.  The Cubs won while Neko sat on his lap.  The last thing he said, was to me: "I love you."  The last thing I said to him was "I love you too".
My Sig's Handy Haversack  Need help?  Want to see what I've done?  Want to see what others have done well?  Check it out.
