Paladin Alternate class and using wands
« on: March 25, 2015, 12:11:09 PM »
I was wondering if you took an alternate class for paladin like Holy Warrior that takes away his spell casting to gain feats would you still be able to use wands without umd?
In UMD description it says you dont need to be able to cast them they just need to be on your classes spell list. So technically it is still on the class spell list even if I cant cast them.

No, because you don't have a class spell list. You're playing a different class than the standard paladin.
I don't pee messages into the snow often , but when I do , it's in Cyrillic with Fake Viagra.  Stay frosty my friends.

Phaedrus is correct.  If the alternate class has no spellcasting then it can't use wands and such without UMD.  It has no spellcasting, no spell list, nothing.
