Int based charachter 3.5

Hi to all,


Im wondering how powerfull can a character be if you focus only in making it a INT base PC.

For instance:

you can choose
faeries mysteries of secret feat hp based on (INT, not CON)
Keen intellect feat ( some good skills like spot and survival, and WILL save using INT instead of WIS)
Swashbuckler  at least lvl 3 for insighfull strike damage
any other ideas?


I guess the best option here is to multiclass with rogue and increase the Sneak attack, also picking Craven will be a nasty damage charachter. Also a dip on swordsage + a feat at lvl 9 to increase SA, It wont be a OP character, but I think it will be good enought.

The INT based will increase the flavor in the campaing, since the wizard wont be the most intelligent charachter in the party lol


Any ideas of what else to add in order to optimized this character? or how to improve the INT ?

If there is already a threat on this, please show me the link, since I did not find anything

Int but not Wizard, eh?

The "X Stat to Y Bonus" guide on 3.5 Handbooks, is a good starting point.

correct, the idea is to get a non caster player with higher INt than the actual caster of the party, I think is going to add some flavor to the adventure, and also I would like to see if is viable playing a PC like this (in the combat part), regarding the class, it does not matter as long as you dont pick casters


the ideas that I got are the one at the 1st message..I am going to take a look to lurk and factotum to see how can I improve the PC, any ideas are welcome
