So I find a need to have a villianous vampire, and while I have things like motivation in the like I realize I have little experience building vampires (in fact, I am not sure what classes to make him). I expect he'll be challenging a group of fairly optimized and savvy ECL 11-12th level players. He will have already achieved his goal of blotting out the sun, and be in possession of a keep to live in and trap, but as for the fellow himself, I'm at a loss.
Inspire me with some ideas perhaps? Or build suggestions, tactics, or otherwise? Actual party makeup is not known.
