Pathfinder- Specific spell interaction questions.

First Spell: Electromagnetic Storm

Second Spell: Amber Globes

Part the first: 3 globes in one square detonate.
"Each globe explodes upon striking any hard surface, and in addition to dealing its regular electricity damage to the target, deals 2 points of splash damage (also electricity damage) per globe in all adjacent squares."
How much splash damage is generated? 6? 18? Other?

Part the second: I'm having a bit of a trouble reconciling the reaction between these two spells. Before we begin, let's assume hypothetically that there is nothing preventing this situation from happening, that for all intents and purposes the spells are being cast by a completely bland/generic spellcaster able to access both spells, and they are both cast at Caster Level 6.

Round 1: An E.M. Storm gets thrown down on a cluster of 5 enemies. First thing is to check Spell Resistance on effected targets/objects (from this point onward assume all SR checks are passed by the caster, when relevant), then Reflex saves, and finally deal 1d10 points of electrical damage to the area. The storm will persist for 6 rounds. So far, so good (I assume).

Is there a different board I should post this question to, or something that doesn't make sense that I might be able to clean up?

My thoughts are that they're both third-party spells so no-one has experience with them (at least, not me). They're also both very odd; amber gloves seems like a mix of Fire Shuriken and Orb of Electricity to me, while the other one... Uh. Yeah. Who knows, it's certainly unique (and very powerful).

Honestly I don't know, because the example given is already for an area-affect spell. I'd say it's up to your group, unless they decided to ask about online, in which case... ??? No idea.

That makes sense, thanks for the feedback Gazzien. We've discussed it, but also decided to crowd-source some opinions on the interaction. I do expect you are correct: that not many folk have actual experience with these spells individually, let alone together. I wouldn't mind <Rules As I Interpret> them commentary though, as it would be delightful to get more angles from other minds on the situation.

Hopefully it does shape-up to be a great "one-two-punch".

Honestly, I'd say that the globes are directed into the storm, but due to how they're targeted, would hit the ground at the center of the storm and only deal splash damage to those inside of the storm.
