I posted my sheet in the character sheet thread. I think all that's left is to buy equipment. How much gold do we start with at 3rd level? 2,700 gp? Can we buy any magical items, or just mundane gear?

The martial hexblade needs Sense Motive as a skill, it gets all of the Cha social skills (this is my opinion, I know that the official Hexblade doesn't get it and I think that is stupid).  Also, does the casting a spell part of Negation take place as part of the action as Negation?  If so I'd say it is a free action, just for clarification.

Okay, I've changed my mind completely.  I went back to the list of stuff you gave of your homebrew you wanted me to play and now I'm making a Chaos Monk instead.


Edit: The Kung Fu feats should probably say "Any Chaos Monk class features, Chaos Feats, or Mutations" instead of "Anything your character uses" because Anything could include Spells for a sorcerer for example or bard class features for example.

Edit edit: Reading the mutations, I'm not sure if they should be included or would have counted as included in the current feats...

This is a question for both bhu and Robby.  Robby, I ask because I have the option of things like an extra pair or arms or natural attacks or the ability to stand on the ceiling like a weirdo.

My guy is a wild elf druid who will eventually be able to shape shift. He'd probably be more worried if you were you were deranged or cruel than you being odd.

Okay, I just bought an Amulet of Translocation as a "get out of jail free card". Other than that, it's mundane items.

What's your opinion on a Druid's animal companion and metal armor? Per the rules, Druids are limited to nonmetal armor, but there's no such limitation an animal companions. Right now, I got his dog leather barding, but I have enough for breastplate if you're fine with it.

My plan for the next two levels is to have Yylris stand back and use his bow while his riding dog does most of the melee fighting. He might summon the occasional animal to fight, too. Once he can shapeshift, he'll jump into the fray more, too.

I'm kind of tempted to multiclass with barbarian but at level 3 we're super far away from any fun prestige classes.
