List what you already tried and liked?
Everything is edible. Just that there are things only edible once per lifetime.
It's a god-eat-god world.

And to the mercies of a moment leaves; The vast concerns of an eternal scene.

Uh....

It's kind of hard to list what i've tried and liked...

I have more or less 178 different anime currently on my computer, totalling 578gb. This is less than what i actually have, because i keep long animes (Bleach, One Piece, Gintama, etc...) in different folders. So, these are all 12-24 episodes, with a few longer ones, like Monster & Hikaru No Go.

I like mostly all anime, from classic & traditional Studio Ghibli stuff, to novel and edgy newer stuff. I've been looking forward to a comedy anime on the same level of Full Metal Panic! and Ouran Highschool Host Club, since most made me CRY laughing... But i'm really up for anything.

I like dark and edgy, like Mnemosyne, Texhnolyze and derivatives... I specially like anime that make me think about life, the universe and everything... Like Mushishi, Kino no Tabi, and many others...

Fight animes are the ones i like less, i think. Never even watched Hajime no Ippo, although many people have recommended that i do. Older stuff like Hokuto no Ken is fun, though, if at times difficult to wrap my head around because the style is SO different than what we have nowadays.

Romance anime is fun, especially with comedy tossed in, as is high-school type...

Mostly i just want some good recommendations to put on my watch list.

Since I've been on a Tenchi Muyo! binge lately I guess I'd recommend most of those.  Tenchi in Tokyo wasn't quite as good as the others though in terms of story.

I've started watching the War on Geminar line and am finding it fairly interesting both on a philosophical level as well as a "hehe, boobs" level.  Kenshi's questions about how things are on the planet have me wondering how an outsider might view us on Earth (as well as the different cultures all over it.)  Then there's the questions I have about what motivated certain people in the anime, but I haven't quite gotten far enough along to get much of an answer.

It's a shame any episodes past 5 on FUNimation's website require paid membership.  Likewise a bit of a shame is the other site I found hosting the rest seems to have massive compression and color problems in general for those videos, and perhaps all videos.  Oh well, you get what you pay for (free in this case).  And there's a bar at the bottom called toolboo that keeps popping up even after I tell it to hide itself.  I eventually learned to ignore it.

Ouran was definitely amusing, I agree.

I finished War on Geminar/Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari and was a bit disappointed in how the main villain's motives were just power and all that.  His son didn't seem to know about his father's true nature and I felt a bit of pity for him being used as a distraction more than anything else.  Didn't stop me from being very satisfied when he got his ass kicked though.  As usual for a Tenchi Muyo! series it had a lot of women and didn't disappoint in showing them off.  Fairly good overall.

High School DxD.

Maybe it has the pace of DBZ's Buu Saga, but it is fun and entertaining. Premise is pretty cool too (demonic chess battles with people pieces), author could have drawn that out out for a few years and no one would have minded, but you do get a couple of BA ones as the plot goes on even if it seems it's done with it.

I know I can't be the only one that liked it, the first two (light) novels were turned into a 12 episode anima, which was extended to have like 6 specials after that, and after those it was renewed to have a second season to animate the rest of the novels. Oh and yeah, they started publishing a Manga version of it too.

I liked it, but the sheer amount of fanservice got annoying.

That's true >.<

As always, the novel was (is? 13 is out and it's still going) better.

It's probably old news, but... One Piece episode 541.

I was... seriously moved by it. There was some lower lip quivering and yes... a few tears flowed.  :bigeyes

I didn't know that upbeat show was so dark.

I didn't know that upbeat show was so dark.

One Piece has some pretty dark spots. The place where Nico Robin was sent by Bartholomew Kuma... It's a massive bridge, so massive it's as big as a country, and people work there as slaves, to build the bridge. It's like russian Gulags over there.

It's one thing i really like about One Piece... the creator sure knows how to bring a tear to the audience, and make you compassionate about the characters.

Railgun 54

Apparently being in a wheelchair wouldn't cramp Kuroko's style much.

A random question for y'all: How do you feel about loli fanservice as compared to adult fanservice?
Please, call me Count :).
