Anime & Manga 4: Brotherhood

OK, so on one of my old/classic manga binges, I've been reading... Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

I'm up to part 3, and so far I've yet to see a more fitting name for a series.

Mexican Vampires. British people with Italian names. Cyborg Nazis. A 50-year old who looks like she's in her twenties. ONE OF THE VILLAINS IS ACTUALLY CALLED ACDC.

I have yet to determine whether this is sixteen different kinds of awesome or just plain weird but entertaining. It's like the author decided to read Hokuto no Ken, play Castlevania AND do drugs at the same time.

And it's finally getting an anime next season!

I have started reading berserk about 2 years after I watched the anime. I read through to where the anime ended, thought I must be getting along with the story now and checked how far I had gotten... 20/320.

This is going to consume a lot of my time...

Yeah, but Jojo's follow the lives of over 5 generations of protagonists... Whereas Berserk's been following the same storyline. Actually, some of Jojo's plots are unrelated enough to be read solo without much trouble with understanding it.

On another note... I started watching a 4-part OVA series, Teizokurei Daydream - really original plot, an S&M Dominatrix who's also a psychic works together with a secret government branch to get rid of ghosts so that their existence isn't made public.

Ecchi that makes sense. Plot's good. Did i find one that managed to strike that balance?

If Ko-Gil is being literal, the only established "princess" I can think of who would fit is Altrouge. Though that seems pretty unlikely.

Anyone start reading the High School DxD manga? They already have an anima out thats a heck of a lot farther in. And it's based off some light novels that are of course, even farther ahead. I like it, kind of perverted through. Might be something for the Nigema fans to look into, kind of up their ally.
