FUNimation put up all 13 episodes of Tenchi Muyo! War on Geminar on Youtube.  They are now copied onto my hard drive via Youtube downloader.

Cool!

I just discovered www.horriblesubs.info - IMO one of the best fansubs i've seen in a long time. Of course, they don't do any translation, but merely steal them from paid sites like crunchyroll, whatever. Still, one of the best things that happened to me in a while. They're translating a hell of a lot of anime fansubs have discontinued due to lack of staff, people that can do jap/eng, etc...

EDIT: Huh. Apparently i've been so disconnected from Anime for the past year, i didn't even found out that the Bleach anime has been discontinued since March this year, and that the manga is already in the Final Arc of the story... And that money's being squeezed out of the franchise by making Light Novels that show more about the past of each charater, or stuff that happened off-screen between arcs, etc... I now fully expect that when the manga is over, a movie will be produced and sold Blu-Ray only that animates the final arc of the manga. And it will make rivers of money. Huh... I'm slow. I should be ashamed.

Could be worse Brujon.  I think I've only ever seen one episode of Bleach.

A recommendation to all lovers of Japanese classic culture: Watch Ayakashi: Japanese Classic Horror Stories.

Three stories, two classic and one original: Tenshu Monogatari, Yotsuya Kaidan, and the new Bakeneko.

Having watched the first 8 episodes out of twelve, that tell the two classic stories, i have to say, i'm impressed. Altough it pales in comparison to theatrical performance, the retelling of the stories is surprisingly accurate, and if nothing else, gets you hooked into classic japanese tales. There's another 12 episodes series spin-off based on the Bakeneko stories called simply: Mononoke.

It's been getting good reviews and i downloaded it. Will be putting in my input in it as soon as i finish watching it.

Why the hell is Hirano Kouta so slow???? T_T

Drifters is a really good manga, glad you folks recommended it, but now waiting 1 month+ between each chapter is a pain, especially because each is so short...

And now it seems the translators caught the same bug he has. 2 weeks since the last chapter came out and i still couldn't find a goddamn scanlation!!! :(

Fresh Drifters chapters! Yes, two of them. Even better, seems like another group of translators is picking it up in order to get more reliable updates.

Also, behold the power of love!

Kenichi!

Damn, i didn't know that was still ongoing. I watched the anime, thought it was pretty good and funny. Have you watched it? How accurate it is with the manga, and at which point in the manga did it stop?

Not sure about accuracy (other than the anime probably skipped most of the really ecchi stuff) but I'm reasonably sure the anime stops after the Ragnarok Arc, and then there's the OVAs going a bit further - not sure by how much.

Never watched the anime besides some youtube clips, but if it stopped on the Ragnarok arc, then a lot of stuff hapened in the manga since then.

Anyway, Strongest Discipline has been updating regularly for years now, the story is nice, the art has evolved quite significantly, a good amount of humor mixed with hotbloodness, plus the author seems to be determined to push ecchi into new heights. I definetely recommend reading it.

Kodomo's no Jikan second to last chapter (warning NSFW for those who never readed it)

(click to show/hide)

In other themes, Kingdom has proven quite a nice read.

Kodomo no Jikan is sick. Lolicon is sick. I'll never get it.

Started Angel Beats! today. Interesting to see an anime where nobody is able to die, yet still has some drama to it.
