This was probably posted before, but just to be sure:

Buddhist temples adding maids and moe-ifying gods to attract worship.

Also, for those who hadn't heard of it:

I have no fucking idea what to make of this.

Avoid the comments section on the second story. It's... really fucking nasty.

Well what's the suprise? People have been humanificating other things since the dawn of times. Turning them into cute girls/women seems a logic next step for me.

This is, it could be worst. Much worst. It could be furryfication. :p

Fight hate with moe!
Everything is edible. Just that there are things only edible once per lifetime.
It's a god-eat-god world.

Procrastination is the thief of time; Year after year it steals, till all are fled,
And to the mercies of a moment leaves; The vast concerns of an eternal scene.

I didn't see much of the anime, but from what I saw, it's heavily censored. In the manga, whenever there's females around, you can rest assured there'll be plenty of close shots and naked skin/skin-tight clothing.

This is one of their many hot springs scenes

Not to mention girl duels.

Seriously, what the hell is with these clothes?

It's a bit censored, but really, the heavy ecchi-ness doesn't pick up until after the anime ends anyway.

So basically, if I'm feeling wholesome, watch the anime, otherwise read the manga.  :p

Nah, the manga is superior in enough ways that even if you're feeling wholesome, suck it up and read the manga^^

I have a problem with pacing. Sometimes I'll go, "Oh, I'll just watch one episode now" and when I realize it, it's one in the morning and I've watched a whole goddamn season.

It's... more pronounced with manga.

You need to spend some of your demigod points on the "no need for sleep" power^^

Seriously though, I hear ya.  The manga is still a good read though, one of my higher ranked martial arts series.  It manages to take the comedy right to the edge of parody, and yet never cross over.  And that keeps the funny scenes funny, and the serious scenes still kind of touching.

Trust me, no sleep or need for rest would be first on my list if I had superpowers.
