He's going to need some luck finding the pilot's seat.
Maybe.
During the Buu Saga Goku cannot use Instant Transmission to go to Namek because he cannot sense their Ki (sic life energy) from the Sacred Kai's Planet. And while Goku can teleport through dimensions we have no idea on the full range of his sensory limitations or how Other World affects it. At the very least he can teleport to King Kai who is weaker than some Namekians from Earth and that comes out to 1/4 galaxy range with a cross-dimension limiter, at most it's senseing Buu form the Sacred Kai's Planet meaning the more powerful the opponent the further away Goku can pin point them. You'd think the spiral energy (sic life energy) of STTGL's pilot would betray him but it then again spiral energy of the user doesn't appear that powerful.
Dark Schneider would definitely still be in, especially after he obtains the Judas Pain.
Oh, I only know about him being punched so hard he lost his head and survived which doesn't count for much. Through with Judas Pain he becomes a regenerater which I already mentioned. Ghosts, Walls of Force, and things that can Regenerate don't so much as tank a hit as recover or shout rules of immunity against being punched to death.
All through being able to punch the big bang to death would kill the mech stuff (who all share the universal weakness of destroying their power supply makes them blow up ). Hmm...
Your point about regeneration is moot. Both Cell and Buu had the ability to regenerate from practically nothing. Cell actually had his top half blown off entirely during the whole Cell Tournament dealie, remember?
Goku's destructive power is impressive, of course, but it is more impressive by dint of the fact that it completely obliterates nonliving matter. Otherwise it's mostly flashy.
Incidentally, none of the iterations of the Gurren Lagann has a combustible power source, it's all powered by spiral energy. Which comes from the pilots. And, later, the crew as well. So Goku's best bet would be to kill the pilots, but given that the Spiral Energy IS their ki as well, he wouldn't be able to pinpoint the source.
Here are a couple more interesting examples to consider: Kenshiro and Joutaro Kujo.
- Kenshiro has Musou Tensei. Which is basically played up as "you can't touch me and I massacre you unless you know this too". Musou Tensei cannot be learned by those who don't practice Hokuto Shinken, therefore Goku is screwed. On the upswing, Goku is arguably faster, teleport or not (different scales, really), so Kenshiro can't poke him to death unless he stands still for whatever reason. If he does, though, then he can make Goku die from all manners of nasty shit. Kenshiro is also stealth-capable, and although Goku can sense lifeforces, it could be argued that Kenshiro can conceal his due to his in-universe nemesis being able to sense the presence of others with supernatural martial arts training too.
- 3rd generation Jojo can stop time. That alone gives him a fuckton of advantage, but there's one more thing about his powerset that's worrying. Star Platinum can interact with physical space, but physical space can't necessarily do the same thing BACK. And only a Stand can injure another Stand, which means that if he uses Star Platinum to block Goku's attacks, Goku can't do shit. (Unlike Kenshiro's situation, Star Platinum is fast and precise enough, even before stopping time, to actually intercept Goku, in addition to having extremely keen senses.)
Another relatively low-powered example: Kill la Kill's Gamagoori Ira and his Shackle Regalia. No attack has been shown to actually injure that shell - Ryuuko won that one by forcefully spreading it open without attacking, by getting wrapped up into it from the inside. Flow goes: Goku attacks, regardless of method, Shackle Regalia bulks up and retaliates.
