E10 Partial Gestalt in faux 12th century England
« on: July 05, 2021, 03:37:31 PM »
The setting is England in the 12th century during The Anarchy, a civil war between Empress Matilda and Stephen de Blois about the succession of the English throne. The civil war will only provide a backdrop unless the players want to get more involved in it - it's primarily a handy excuse to have PCs get away with the usual murderhobo PC things without the full force of the law coming down on them.

The setting isn't quite England either - places are renamed to those from Thomas Hardy's 19th century Wessex novels and will heavily deviate from the real world counterparts, except as far as they can provide something that is useful for the game.
