Hi there, I'm Mr. Wolfe.
All film references aside, I'm here to expand my knowledge and understanding of tabletop RPG's--and possibly make my DM cry in the process.
I live in Pismo Beach, California, and I've never been much of a min/maxer until recently. Like anyone, I have my occasional power-hungry moments--but usually I tend to focus more on the concept behind my characters than their actual stats. Perils of being a writer, I guess. Of course, optimization does come into play alot when your trying to make some obscure theme-driven build actually
work in-game.
Although I started with AD&D, (not a typo--I'm just that old) I've played a variety of pen and paper RPG's, including Shadowrun, CthulhuTech, Dresden Files, and most recently Pathfinder.
I also have a shameful love affair with R. Talsorian Games' Dragonball Z rpg and have been trying for years to rewrite the system into something more workable and comprehensive.
Finally, I'm an irredeemable nerd who long ago failed his last sanity check. Case in point--I'm currently listening to "Roll a D6" on loop.
