There's a problem with your theory... x7 is the cap
1: That's still x3 more than others, and can be done with a 18-20/x2 weapon to start.
2: The ridiculous bit was prefaced by "If we are allowed to extrapolate the table".

There's another problem with the theory, it references the weapon's "normal" critical multiplier.  Also, as a rule, abilities don't stack with themselves.

Another note on Pitspawned: The 10% discount also applies to Keen, which you want in any crit-focus not using DoD.

That depends. For a given build, one might value +1 enchantment higher than a feat (Improved Critical, obv)

That depends. For a given build, one might value +1 enchantment higher than a feat (Improved Critical, obv)
Especially since there's the option of a Scabbard of Keen Edges if your mages are stingy (cost is about equal to the cost of going from +3 to +4), or simply having someone else cast Keen Edge on your weapon if not.
