Looking for a dip

I'm looking for a 1 level dip to fill the following blank.
Half Orc Paragon 3/ ???/Warblade 1/ Marshal 1/ Orc Warlord....

I would like a class that benifits both this character's melee combat ability and leadership ability, but leadership is the crutial factor here.

It looks like you have room for Legendary Leader (HoB) -- given a 20-level build, of course.
The 1st level doesn't give you a whole lot, but the whole thing seems to fit in well.
The downside is that to get the most of it, you really do need to be using the additional leadership mechanics found in that book.

I'm in a geopolitical play buy post where we're starting at level 6 with leadership as a free feat... so I don't think I'll kill enough level that much. Honestly after 3 levels in orc warlord I plan on continuing Warblade.

But since if I save my first level of warblade to 5th level that means I can get a better white raven stance and manuver selection then two levels starting at 4th, I'm looking for a class to take for 4th level. The build after 9th level isn't an imediate concern.

Best bet is probably Fighter, and then use the extra feat to pick up Extra Followers or something (I know it's not a FBF, but surely you're taking something that is).

1st level feat:Noble born, 3rd: Skill focus (Diplomacy)*, 6th Extra Followers
*Granted to marshal a first level which I'm taking at 6th, meaning I'm banking the feat for Might Makes Right which I'll then qualify for.

So you're maxed Strength with Diplomacy?

Half Orc Druid could be interesting. Use Strength for Wild Empathy to bring Monsters onto your team, and if they're high enough Int they get your Marshall bonuses.

Would be nice, but I need to build this all under tier 2, if I don't I loose access to the free leadership and a lot of good benifits.

Crusader would help combat ability a little bit, and some White Raven will synergize with your leadership abilities.  Dragon Shaman for a couple auras to help your followers.  Or just something like Lion Totem Barbarian for pounce obviously.

There is also the Marshal 2, I guess (As in Half Orc Paragon 3/Marshal 2/Warblade 1).  Still not exciting though.

Can't, the first level of marshal must be at level 6.

As an aside, will you be taking the might makes right feat, to add your strength mod to your leadership score in addition to your charisma mod?

Cloister cleric to too high of a tier, and yes, might makes right and extra follows at 6th level.
