By the way, the corrupted template is updated for 3.5 in Expedition to the Demonweb pits as corrupted by the Abyss.. It turns the creatures type to an aberation and sets it's level adjustment to - so only available to NPC's

I like the idea of rendering them helpless through. You can hug them then do all kinds of nasty things to a helpless creature 

Shadow Spray sounds pretty good, dunno if it allows for saves and such though. If it's not the right spell per see, it's certainly on track.
Can Metamagic be applied to Living Spells?

Yeah, it has a fort save to negate, but then it's only a lv. 2 spell...

Ooze HD 3 / Paladin of Tyranny 3 / Soul Eater 10 / Blackguard 2 / LA +2
Using Dragonscale Husk ACF For Shi~ and Giggles.

Phrenic gives lots of utility and power as well as the most Spell-Likes you can get for it's level investment.
Paladin and Blackguard is x2 CHA to Saves and Smite Good 3/day (made into 6/day with Soul Power)

Sentry Ooze gives massive bonuses to CHA so Shadow Spray Should be quite formidable, especially when the Negative Levels start stacking Up.

I will also pick up Deformity (Tall) along the line, as well as Shape Soulmeld (Strongheart Vest) to deal with the Ability Damage of some of the feats.

There are actually Evil Vow's in DotU, Vow of Decendance and Vengence specifically. Might be a nice contrast to the good exalted feats.

I made a character with a similar concept, though she was themed after an anime character She was thrall of juiblex 8 / soul eater 8, getting all the important abilities anyway (without the wight horde thing, but she was still able to summon hordes of oozes anyway). She was one hell of a tank thats for sure, and between her pets, drains, and morphing abilities, had an ample repertoire of offense to handle most situations Most importantly though she was incredibly fun to roleplay.
