Sure.  Also, I wouldn't sweat the dagger - do you have the funds?  If so, retcon away.

Is one of the crossbows pointed specifically at Alvin, given that he's a little way away from the rest of the party, or are they both trained on the main group?

They're moving around, trying to aim at everyone at once.

You know technically i'm roleplaying a character thats roleplaying a character playing a role that isn't his "normal" mode? Kheldar isn't a drunkard just a "two bit" sneak that happened to need some "medication". So thats three levels down?

P.S. To Sneaky, your avatar is Pinky Pie? The most overpowered pony in the show? Cause you know she has hammer space, super speed, damage reduction, and odds manipulation....

Close, that's Princess Cadence, or rather, Queen Chrysalis in the form of Princess Cadence. This is right before she traps Twilight in a ring of flame and banishes her to the crystal caverns beneath Canterlot.

And for people who do not watch the show... none of that is an exaggeration.

Youtube Link to Scene in question. Contains ponies. You've been warned.

Well I didn't really see the Wedding in Canterlot set so I didn't know anything about this villain until I heard a dubstep mix using her quote about consuming love.

Who's turn to post is it?

Unless the crossbow-thugs are taking their readied actions, I think it would be mine, Legion's and Nora's. I forget the reason why Nora'Luuu has his in (parentheses) though.

Heck, I'll just post.

(Attacking from higher ground )table). Distance not taken into account so apply any mod necessary, but as she was heading towards the door I assume she's within 30 ft of them)

Doesn't high ground advantage only apply to melee attacks unless you have a feat?

I don't think so, its part and parcel to the killer kobolds thing, ambush from high ground with bows.

On higher ground: +1 for melee, +0 for ranged.

Higher ground is still a sound tactical advantage for ranged attackers, but mostly because closing on an opponent above you takes longer for the same distance (lower range increment penalties for the same number of rounds that the enemy needs to close). It's more of a defensive thing than an offensive thing in that regard.

That's what I get for trying to be clever. The game seriously hates ranged attackers.

Its a legacy issue, though why they didn't keep "archery works better from higher ground" from the original wargame I don't know. The issue is conservation of detail (and dm sanity) pushed the first versions of the game into dungeons and "smaller" spaces where the idea of archery doesn't even make much sense and so all of the original thought was put into swinging swords at things (imo). So you have all these details about melee and then basically... you need PBS to do anything as a "range" character.

So, I think the only person left to go is Legion, and then we should be okay.

Also, I have to ask, is Legion at all inspired by Legion? I am just now getting around to playing these games.
I'm here and ready to keep confusing the hell out of everyone I meet.

No. I haven't played a single video game in... years. I just thought it was an interesting name, since he used to be a "soldier" in a Legion, and he is also basically a composite being made up of the memories of a lot of other beings (ancient, dead beings).

It's also... a pretty common trope (been around for a couple thousand years at least :D). I think I specifically remembered hearing it being used first from Steven King's Randall Flagg (either in "The Stand" or the "Dark Tower" series. It is used to refer to him in both).

So... it's been a while and I don't think there is a map, so I'm not sure if I can do this without hitting allies or innocent bystanders, but I think I'd like to breathe fire on the two guys with crossbows.  :D (I'm going to add the "Smoking Burn" boost to it, to give us a smoke screen). The main thing I want is the "wall of smoke" effect. So even if I have to move and reposition him, and only hit maybe one of the "bad guys", I'll do that if I can get the smoke screen to a better position.
