Legion says "Cremation is a lot easier to manage. Do you want to try to identify the knight first? Perhaps we could tell the authorities in Silverhaven that he has fallen?"

The savage weasel leaves the brutal scene of the ogre's re-dealing with, and scampers over by the knight. A few sniffs, either to pick up the scent or to see if he's particularly delicious smelling, it's hard to tell...

"You all seem rather calm about watching something that was dead move like it was alive again." Nora'luuu comments, now moving his sword to stab at the knight. "Is this one a threat too? Father taught me of spirits, but nothing like this."

"As long as he doesn't move, no harm done." Kara says, looking the knight over for some sort of identifying mark. "Now if only we had a mayor's son who knew about family crests in his village..."
Hmm.

"You don't cremate knights, or bury them at the side of the road. I'll carry him back, alone if I have to." Isaac seems unusually bothered by the cremation thought. "Besides, we should probably have authorities identify the bodies for the reason they got up. We should report it, and have them investigate. We might even think of our fastest heading back and the rest of us staying with the bodies to put them down again if need be."

Nora'Luuu watched Isaac start to pick up the metal-man, then moved to help him while sheathing his longsword in the process. Once he got under the other arm, Nora'Luuu made a startling discovery!

"This man isn't metal, he's just wearing it. It'd be easier to remove the metal and carry the man." he observed in his native Sylvan. "We can drag his metal behind us, or pile it up and carry it if he needs it." Nora'luuu mentioned while pointing to the straps that held the knight's armor together.

"...... oh right he has no idea what platemail is. Yes, he's only wearing it, just like I'm only wearing this thick outer skin." Isaac shows him the armor. "I made it myself, you know. I could make you some decent equipment, if I ever got my hands on a forge. I could always take a few days to upkeep our armor and weapons, once we get into town."

"That would be excellent, Isaac." Legion says. "In the meantime, I can put the knight's armor to use, if no one objects. It would be easier than carrying it on him, I think. I can give it back to his family once we arrive."

At Isaac's insistence, you take care of Sir Gef's remains, as well as cremating those of the ogre and horse.  Then, you return to Silverhaven, to plan your next move.

"So, shall we try and pitch in for a few rooms at the Wolf's Head? We should probably rest and plan our next move. As well as figure out how we will fund out little quest..."

At the mention of food, Nora'Luuu starts to imagine delicious creatures without the tummy aches that follow it. A grumble sounded from the weasel's stomach that could be heard in the silence that fell across the party. He tried to play it off, like it was some terrible monster nearby, but anyone with a brain in their head and breath in their lungs knew...

"Alright then. Sounds like I'm not the only one who could use some food. Let's get there then... We can plan things out and deal with equipment after." With that, Isaac leads the group back to the Wolf's head.

Back at the Wolf's Head, everyone enjoys a good meal and beverage for the first time in days (for most) or ever (for Nora'luuu).  No one's quite willing to break the companionable mood and talk about the next steps just yet -- there's unspoken agreement to just enjoy each others' company for the duration of the meal.

When suddenly, a figure bursts into the room, hurrying over to Sorrel.

A boy of 15 or so bursts excitedly through the door and, visibly checking his rush, walks swiftly over to your table in a manner that could very nearly be called a bustle. Short and just this side of stocky, he is dressed in a modifed version of castle Fontaine servant's livery and a worked leather belt with several pouches.  He carries a bulging pack over his shoulder.

[Alvin]"Good heavens, Sorrel Fontaine! Where have you been these few days, I'm simply dying to speak with you. I think I've finally got the hang of that technique I was showing you, I can do it without breaking any dishes now, I swear!

::noticing the rest of the party:: "Ahh, excuse me! It seems you've made some fascinating new aquaintances, Sorrel."

::taking a small step back and seeming to search his memory for the correct formula:: "Allow me to introduce myself, I am Alvin Makegood, of castle Fontaine and friend of Sorrel here. How do you do?"

Sitting at the same table as Sorrel, somewhat awkwardly because they don't have chairs where he's from... is a white furred bipedal weasel about as tall as a Halfling. White fur, in the sense that what wasn't covered in meat juice or gravy was white. The creature tore into the meat placed before him like a ravenous animal, tearing meat from bone with pointed teeth that seemed wasted on chewing, but more for gripping and tearing. A perfectly untouched set of silverware graced his plate to the side.

What clothing the creature wore seemed more like a leather harness and furs then civilized clothing. He had a longsword almost as long as he was tall strapped to his back, with a pair of daggers on his hips. One dagger looked more like a wicked sharp icicle, and had extra fur in its sheath, while the other dagger seemed crudely made: A jagged metal piece fit into a bone handle.

The creature watched Alvin's hurried approach as though gauging a potential threat. Or, at the least, a potential threat to the food. He had only growled at the others once, and quickly learned this wasn't *HIS* food, but rather *THEIR* food. He would watch to see who reached for the food first, since he would need to know who in this pack was the alpha. He also noticed that Legion didn't eat at all. Probably waiting for everyone else to be done before tending to the scraps. Nora'Luuu had Legion figured wrong. He wasn't a scary giant monster from beyond the spirit veil.

He was the Omega.

"Hello, Alvin. I'm Kara." Kara says while chewing her food, her plate filled up with a little of everything.  As a being with a high metabolism (that is, a halfling), she was particularly famished from their recent trip, and had wasted no time tending to her stomach, using two forks (one of which was Legion's) to first fill her face. Giving the newcoming a sliver of he rattention, she wondered what sort of 'tricks' he meant. Did Sorrel order some kind of entertainment?
Hmm.

"We are doing alright with some food in us. Should we give you and Sorrel some space? To discuss these tricks?" Isaac was in a good mood, and didn't mind the intrusion much. He was a medium height, strongly built young human male, wearing what looked to be somewhat stained and dirtied leather with metal studs lining portions of it. A long, two-handed sword hung from a simple strap on the back of his chair, while a sharp and simple (and identically crafted to the greatsword) arming sword hanging from his left hip.  A similar and simple bow and quiver, seemingly made from yew, hung from the opposite chair-peg. He ate what seemed to be a large amount, but ate with utensils and kept himself clean. The meat was stripped to the bone though, and he was currently consuming the last of the bread by sticking it on the fork and mopping up the roasting grease with it.

"It's not a trick it's... well see for yourself."

Alvin closes his eyes and his brow furrows briefly. He passes a hand through the air as if grasping a handle and a silvery blue knife appears, floating above the table. Alvin opens his eyes and smiles slightly at seeing the knife. He moves his hand in a sawing motion and the knife slices off a small portion of the remaining meat and spears it.

"Anyone want seconds?"

A man with dark hair and eyes, wearing a breastplate (disguised so that it doesn't look like the knight's), who is sitting back a bit from the table and not eating says "Well met, Alvin of Castle Fontaine. I am called Legion by my friends."
