The five of you return to the Tiny Lancer in late afternoon, Isaac and Willow first.  Kyle and Boon have not yet returned.  ((You guys can rp with each other now.))

Group 2 (Boon, Kyle, Sorrel) --

The three of you notice that it's getting rather late in the day... Kyle and Boon suddenly remember the rest of their group.

"I know, though maybe we can help him again when we return. I'll bet there's a lot I could learn from those books," Isaac nodded to Willow.

"Hey all, we found something interesting. It's not huge, but it's something to build from!" Isaac holds up the book, one finger pointing at the subscript on the cover.

The writing under the name, looking like the name of the author, is in the same characters as those on the back of the stone. Not sure what it is yet, but might be helpful.

Snowy (group 1)

"Oh yes, we got a location, and we'll go there as soon as the others are here. Where are they?" says the girl, stressed. She gets out of her bag what seems to be a map rolled up and tied by a leather strap which she keeps firmly in her hands.

I know the map has a mark which is supposed to be pointing out a cave some miles above the snow line, but as a whole how much region does the map seems to cover? Could Snowy even read the thing?

Kyle [Group 2]

Noticing the light of the sun dimming, out of the window, Kyle turns again to Sorrel. Just don't panic. You can talk your way out of this. Sure you can.
"What makes you think we sneaked in here? We are currently working on an important investigation which, if successful, will save countless lives. That is why we received permission from his highness Lord Fontaine to use his library for our research." As his lie grows, Kyle starts blushing a little, still talking "Now, I would like you to apologize to me and my friend here, for insulting us, implying our "sneaking in", as if we were criminals..." sweating profusely as he talks, still blushing, not used bluffing his way out of trouble, Kyle suddenly notices the book that Sorrel's holding, the runes on its cover, more specifically, and stops. Coincidences don't exist. We need that book. Just don't panic.. In a moment the frail figure pounces the book, trying to take it from Sorrel's hand, then bolts for the door. Sometimes I think that part of me wants to die. It wants it bad.

Kyle bursts into the taproom of the Tiny Lancer, breathing heavily and carrying a slim leather volume.

((Sorrel and Boon can enter as you desire.))

Panting, winded, Kyle tries to find the words, holding the book tight in his hand.

"I... I screwed up. Big time."

Then takes a few steps, puts the book on the table and passes out.

Boon storms in behind Kyle. " Oh man! This guys following us " *pant pant*" ... Its" *pant* "... the lord fountains son "  ((yes intentional name screw up)) He then sits down in a chair and finishes one of his friends drinks for them

Sorrel crashes through the door, hot on Boon's heels.

Sorrel collapses into the nearest available chair.

The halfling girl looks at the boy and then at the half-orc. "'Brother', what have I told you about bringing troublesome things home with you?"

He stops chugging random drinks off the table and pauses for a moment    " Its not my fault this time ! "  He laughs loudly and begins to pick at some of the plates on the table. In between bites and drinks, with a full mouth he says " Mnrfphfdf ..." *chomp chomp* "nefgrppmnmm" and he nods a few times to Kara
