That Zug jerk posted here and didn't even link his own handbook (maybe he's shy to promote himself):

I appreciate the logical, cool-headed responses and the lack of profanity displayed by our community.

Where I can find Mystic Shield?
Empire of Shade.

Aha! I'll look into it :)
[/quote]Mindful the suggested combo doesn't work. Mystic Shield doesn't allow any spell or effect below 6th level to affect you. People seem to forget the whole you can cast spells normally even on your self isn't some type of exception ignoring that line, because forgetting there are other people or 7th level spells is pretty easy to do.

Instead cast Planeshift on your self and goto the Ethereal Plane, with an Ethereal Reaver (CP) you can freely attack people on the material plane. Mystic Shield can be added to negate spells entirely rather than the 50% chance and force works problem for the most part. Also, I've always personally thought it's within Transdimensional Spell's concept that Ethereal can attack Material, but check with your DM.

Didn't see it anywhere in here, but Dragon Fire Insp Bard makes a good Gish, especially since it makes everyone else in the party like you more too. Add Knowledge Devotion & maybe a ToB dip to boost damage & you're a spellcasting, sword swinging, bard.
Stupid twos!!!!!!!!!!!
