As Lilly and IA start to manhandle the kid toward the medical center, suddenly IA's spell wears off and the kid can move again. The air around him flares white-hot, searing them.

As Roy turned, one hand went directly to the pistol under his coat, and the other went up instinctively to his ear. Before making the call in, his eyes scanned the scene, locking onto the frantic shooter.

Radon had his personal sensor move to hover over the man, then moved 10 feet North for a good shot at him, drawing his weapon during the move. 1d20+7=23, 1d8=3

Radon's shot hits the perp in the upper arm, leaving a dark scorch mark and causing the man to let out a yelping curse. The guy immediately runs 40 feet up the wall, ending up on the roof; mid-journey, he pauses at an odd and disturbing angle to take a shot at Radon with the now-reloaded Energy Launcher.
