Why are all my Handbook ports in grey text?  I can't find out why this is!

Added new Handbook: Why Down 2 PrCs are Down 2 Tiers.

Also, does anybody know of any easy ways to get the code of a BG message board post?  The read only thing makes Toggle View the only option I know of, and straight copy-paste is disastrous when spoiler text is involved.  I don't want the Handbooks to be lost forever, but I don't want the ported ones to be an unreadable mess.

BTW, can somebody port this Handbook over?  I can't really seem to to do it without turning it into a mess.

UPDATES: I've ported killercoffee's Illithid Savant Information thread, and brought over Gerdreg's Guide to the Soulborn from Gleemax's cache at Wayback Machine.

Libertad, I don't know about easy, but what I did when I ported all of these was open all the spoiler tags, select everything in a single post, copy and paste it in a blank Word document, then copy and paste that in the WYSIWYG version of the boards' text editor. Doing that will go a long way to keeping formatting and all that stuff, but I went further to keep things neat. I previewed the post (so the boards would convert the pasted stuff into its own code), toggled the view again so I could get the pure text version, copied and pasted that into a computer-based text editor (my program of choice is Notepad++) and cleaned the code there. You don't need any tags defining font face and most defining font size, and there's a lot of redundant HTML code you can cut too. I use a PC-based text editor because I can make batch modifications to the text, deleting all "Verdana" tags at once, for example. After all that is said and done, I will go back to the boards' text editor and add back the spoiler tags and fix something that possibly broke. It can take some time, but it is certainly easier and faster than doing everything by hand. Just be careful: tables like the one found in the third thread I linked above are pure HELL to handle, and will take a LOT of time to fix. *shivers*

Anyways, related question: couldn't the board admins create a few users for us in the old boards with posting privileges in locked threads, but without post editing privileges? If we could only hit the "quote" button and copy the resulting text, our work would be so much easier...

+1.  This would go a great way to helping the transition.

Also, thanks for the suggestions.

Another Totemist handbook has been made on Gitp here. IMO this is the best and most detailed one. Under the Useful Links section it also has a bunch of handbooks that aren't in this list either.
Please, call me Count :).

A new, if not highly specific handbook for the Shifter race:

Have any of the other dragon Compendium classes been given Handbook love? (I know the Sha'Ir has)

That is true. I kinda want someone to take a good look at the Savant though. Tt seems like a more streamlined Factotum. Jesters are OK too from what I know so far.

Can I get HeroForge Anew added to the Handy Links index? It's not a handbook, but it is a really useful character building resource.

For anyone keeping track, it's been just over a year since I last sorted the new entries. But now that that's been dealt with, it's all dealt with again, yay!

The Consolidated Binder Handbook by jameswilliamogle was in the hatchet thread, but wasn't actually here.  So now it is.

Under Binder you have the "Trade Soul for Awesome" which I eventually just made the repost over on the old boards, and you have his original thread as well (if you want to keep that link for posterity, that's fine).  If you add the new one that is actually here rather than on BG you'll have three links that link to the same information.

I'm actually back to updating the Let's Make a Deal handbook, and it's coming along.  Not that it's been like 3 years or anything...

The spoiler-blocks don't seem to open.

All the content is in spoiler-blocks, so I feel this is a significant decrease in utility.
