Hulking hurler

What is so broken about this class? I have read the description and the only things I can see is the tricks (since there are no sizes over collossal, a huge hurler can be made able to throw anything he can consider a medium load, while making it an area attack gets around the crappy range increasement.

But when people here speak of hulking hurler, they usually think of something like this:

What am I missing?

You're likely missing the Improvised Weapons bit in Complete Warrior, page 159.  Stuff up to 400 pounds does 5d6 damage, and for ever 200 pounds heavier than 400 it does another 1d6.  When you're hurling something that weighs hundreds of tons, it adds up.

And people keep forgetting the little text in there about sharp objects dealing damage as an object of twice its weight.

You can boost Strength incredibly high, and take the natural heavyweight feat from planar handbook to double your carrying capacity... and then use Shrink Item to multiply the final weight by 4000.

The most ridiculous HH build I've seen

And a slightly less ridiculous build, using psionics:

If you are one of the guys breaking things for fun, perhaps you'd like to write up Diamond Jozu (the guy in the picture) ? The only problem I see is that he probably counts as large (the guys he is throwing it at are gargantuan... unfortunately sizes are all over the place in One Piece.)

We used to have a topic dedicated entirely to that. (writing up characters from various media) Has it been remade for the new board?

EDIT: I found some databook... Apparently Jozu is about 16 feet tall... Definitely half-something by D&D standards.

One Piece characters don't really translate well into D&D stats.  You can kludge something together, but really you're better off pulling out one of the superhero games if you want to stat them up.
