As we have no Open Game Advertisements thread anymore, I'll just use this thread:
The Maker's Crown is a 4th Edition D&D game set in Eberron, and currently has an open spot. All sorts of characters are welcome, and you need not be familiar with Eberron; sources of inspiration for the campaign and setting are taken from film noir/mystery stories, high adventure (such as Indiana Jones), and occult stories (Lovecraft, several horror stories). This is a world where nothing is ever quite as it seems.
Characters are starting at level 1 with no set end-point planned; the game is an open-world, though plot cues and hooks are provided. Initially, the campaign is opening with an Eberron-themed conversion of Keep on the Shadowfell, to give the game some momentum to build off of.
Current characters include a Kalashtar Invoker, a Tiefling Paladin, a Githyanki Artificer, and an Eladrin Swordmage. As you can see, any and all content is fine with me, so long as it's cleared first; in addition, homebrew is possible so long as it's worked out with me; When I ran this game in-person, one player wanted to play a Mind Flayer... so I let him! Obviously the race was modified so the character would fit into the party and the level of power of a player character, but Eberron is a world where this sort of thing is not entirely unheard-of.
