Hello, it is I. The grand, glorious spellcasting poultry known as Rooster or Mage Rooster.
I'm an experienced DM (I prefer storyteller or cat-herder) who has run games of Shadowrun, D&D 3E/PF, M&M 2E, D&D 4E, Exalted, World of Darkness (3E or Revised or "OWoD", whatever you want to call it), Scion and Dawn of Worlds. I have over a decade of being frustrated at players not showing up without giving me warning that they're busy that week under my belt.
As for what I've played: M&M 2E, D&D 3.5E / Pathfinder and 4E, BESM 3E/ and 4E, SW:SE, Exalted 2E, OWoD (Mainly M:tA Revised), NWoD (Mainly M:tAw), Weapon of the Gods, Anima: Beyond Fantasy (briefly), Warhammer 40K RP (Dark Heresy briefly, Rogue Trader briefly, Deathwatch several times, Black Crusade several times), Dungeons: the Dragoning, Shadowrun 2E (briefly), 3E and 4E. Of that pile, I enjoy 3E/Pathfinder and Black Cruade the most, although I've had plenty of good times in most of those settings.
RPG Leanings:
I tend to play mages. But I do play other things, mainly for variety. I also feel fighters should be allowed to have nice things, because I have no desire to hog the spotlight. That isn't to say I don't want my share of it, however.
I like to homebrew things, but I'm terrible about finishing them to 100% completion. They usually get to the 90% done/playtest phase and lurk there for all time.
Power armor is awesome. To believe otherwise is to not understand what power armor is or to be overly jaded by everything.
My RL alignment would be Neutral Good.
On the BG boards, my biggest contribution was collecting all the alternate class features from the Dragon magazines for the ACF thread.
I tend to run/play my games on a mixture of IRC, MapTool and Ventrilo. Not so much IRL due to the players I'd want to play with around here having busy lives.
I am the founder and one of the moderators of #zeal, which is a fairly large RP discussion and organization channel.
As for things not related to RPGs:
I am a geek. Big surprise here.
I enjoy video games. I'm currently playing Minecraft and Star Wars: Old Republic mainly.
I am a programmer.
I like cats.
