Necro Bump.

I have a Question.
Are you forced to apply your Wisdom Modifier in place of your Con/Dex with Will of the Void as it appears to read?
Is this intentional?

I actually am planning to play a Nullblade in a future Campaign, however the character has higher Con then Wis, so Will of the Void actually nerfs the character Fort a bit.
Im really bad at what I do.
A+

I'll clarify - it's not intended to make the char worse.

Okay thats good.

Another Question.
How does Nullify ability work against abilites granted by classes such as a Warlocks Spell-Likes or a Binders Supernatural Abilites?
It seems strange that you would need to identify the creature in order to nullify a class feature ability independent of race.

If you encounter an NPC, you can make a Knowledge check as normal to ID it... so why wouldn't that work in this case?

I think the issue is that you're identifying the creature in order to counter abilities it gained from class levels. So you could be using knowledge (local) to identify a human binder's abilities or knowledge (the planes) to identify a tiefling's or knowledge (religion) to identify a necropolitan's. When they're using exactly the same abilities.

I don't know that it's worth changing since it makes plenty of sense from a mechanical perspective but it is a little odd from a fluff perspective.

Classes introduced outside of the Core book tend to have their own associated knowledge checks for finding out information about them. For example, ToM has a table for Knowledge (Arcana), (Religion), or (The Planes), I'm not sure which, that details what PCs might know about NPC Binders. I figure if a DM dislikes the idea of rolling type-specific knowledges for classed creatures, they might best fall back on those.

"Everything you do, I will undo.  Everything you are, I will counter.  Everything you will, I will end."

Very much reminds me of Magic the Gathering's Envelop card. There's a quote by Ambassador Laquatus *ahem*, "What you made will be unmade. What you learned will be unlearned. And when you're done, you will be undone."

I always seem to alter that significantly when citing it from memory.

I would very much have liked to have seen this class when it was a defensive powerhouse (according to the few posts I've skimmed over).

This is a really cool class. I like it :clap
Do you know how long someone who is as sarcastic as I am would last in prison? Suuuuuuch a long time.

Bhu: Favorite quote of the day: “I’ll make love to you like a confused bear. Awkwardly. And in a manner that suggests I’m trying to escape.”

I've recently had the pleasure of using this class, and a question came up about the void subtype. It gives a list of things that can't be used to detect the nullblade and what can automatically detect it, but how does this concealment interact with things like detect magic and arcane sight if the nullblade has magic equipment on it?

SirP Hasn't posted here since March, so you're probably on your own when it comes to creating a ruling.
