Does mage slayer work if the mage is casting a quickened spell?

No, because Quickened spells don't draw attacks of opportunity in the first place. So there is no need to cast them defensively.

Until you get into other feats which make casting any spell in threatened range provoke an AoO, including swift.  Let me see if I can dig that one up.

There's also Supernatural Opportunist (I think that's what it's called) from Tome of Magic.  It triggers AoOs from supernatural abilities.  You can't interrupt them like you can spells, but it's more punishment, especially if you can crank up your single attack damage really high. 

Hell, if you can manage that (which can't be all that hard at epic levels), I'd also suggest nabbing great cleave.  That way you can credibly murder entire armies given your crazy reach.

This is awesome.  I'm done with feats, skills, and levels now.  I just need to make some ridiculous magic items to help me out.

9 million gold to spend   I think I want a +10 weapon, I need immunity to as much magic I can get (esp save or suck/die spells), more hit points, (I'm not even going to bother with ac because shock trooper = -28 ac), more reach (because 30 reach at colossal ISNT ENOUGH!!!), spell absorption?, mobility and flight (perfect?.  Admittedly, I'm not good with magic items.

Dude, PLEASE check out the link to Person Man I included, especially his list of links a little bit down the page.  It will make your life much easier, and it will make ours as well. 

For example, there's a link all about gaining more reach.  Off the top of my head, I can get 20 feet while being medium:  spiked chain + aberrant blood + inhuman reach.  With colossal that should be what, 60 feet?  I've never made a character that big before. 

I would probably also use those tricks to get my base damage up to the stratosphere using unarmed strike or size increasing shenanigans, but that's just me.  The idea is to make each one of those AoOs major punishment.

In the Epic Level Handbook there's some crazy bracers, I think, that increase your size.  If you've got cash to burn, they are something I always drooled over.

You'll want Third Eye Conceal, from MiC page 141.  Being immune to scrying and plenty of other stuff is absolutely awesome.

Also in MiC, page 210, is the Phoenix Cloak.  It grants continuous perfect fly speed equal to your land speed.

Belt of Magnificence +6 might be worthwhile given your huge gold amount.  For 200k, it's a +6 enhancement bonus to all your stats in one slot, and per the MiC rules you can add further enhancements.

I apologize for my weirdness on posting.  I did check out that thread and read into it.  I'm going to be taking some of the items from there, i.e. gauntlets of reach.  But that list doesn't cover the defensive aspect of the items I'm going to need to purchase.  As stated before, the DM is notorious for BIG monsters with lots of resistance, Evil clerics, and evil mages.
