So, these power sigils enable you to get your strength or dexterity instead of your casting stat to determine your bonus spells. How can we optimize this?

Ideas:

Strength Cleric
Dexterity Druid, with some sort of flying form.
Strength Druid.
Strength Duskblade.

Strength Druid is a no unless you're not using Wildshape.  Dex cleric could work for a Cleric Archer, though Zen Archery makes it more SAD than that even.  A melee cleric could work with Strength.  Strength duskblade is pretty nice.  Strength sorcerer for a non-polymorphing gish could work...

I think that strength can be boosted a lot easier than dexterity

Either are good combined with Suel Arcanamach, depending on what you'd like to do. Strength is nicer, though.

How about mystic sword of the arcane order wildshape ranger? Pick a form with high strength for tons of bonus spells.

They can also be good for classes with split casting stats like the Archivist. DC's are based on INT and bonus spells are based on WIS. I have an Archivist/Wizard/Mystic Theurge that uses DEX instead of WIS for bonus spells. Not entirely optimized but I like it.

No real need for Cancer Mage.  Any caster with Shapechange can assume the form of a Zeugalak and boost Dexterity with no upward limit.  (I like this approach better because you're also boosting your AC, Touch AC, and reflex save with no upward limit at the same time.  I'd rather have the defense than the ability to deal massive damage in melee.)

I actually prefer the dex-based route, myself, but I'm looking for a way to optimize my dexterity modifier without using shapechange or cancer mage that are border-theoretical. Actually I have no problem with shapechange, but I don't think I'll manage to get that high.

Well, I think for Dex-Druid the best form is Legendary Eagle.

Hrm.  Well, Zeugalak can be done through Aberrant Wildshape, but you'd need Assume Supernatural Ability, and since it's a 16 HD form, you wouldn't be getting it much before Shapechange in any case.

Will O' Wisp works at lower levels, as someone else mentioned.   Lots of benefits, relatively few downsides.  I don't think you're likely to find a better form.  Prior to 9th level, the Deadly Dancer has a pretty darned high Dex, and is only 4 HD, but is freakish-looking.

Heh, you're burying the lead -- you also get Immunity to Magic as an (ex) power.
