Um... question: it is a naturally psionic brain. It gets +3 Int. Why oh why does it not stack with Psion, when it does stack with Psychic Warrior, despite being completely ill-suited for a warrior class? :huh

It might be the more powerful class, but it does introduce some MAD (Since the Brain itself mostly uses CHA) on top of being a tiny undead with no STR score.

And Wilders really don't multiclass well.

Because with both bonus to Int and Cha, it wouldn't really be that MAD. And wilders deserve some love.

And Wilders really don't multiclass well.
On the contrary, they want to multiclass, since staying pure Wilder means the chance from suffering enervation goes from manageable to something that'll happen every other battle.

Um... Wilders get no powers at level 5. That essentially makes taking BiaJ 4/Wilder 1 insane. You get a level of absolutely nothing. It really does seem like you're better off taking BiaJ 3/Psion 17, because you still get ninths and aren't crippled by being pinned to a supposed manifesting-focused class that can give itself a ML bonus but only gets 8 powers over 16 levels.

... the hell possessed them to give the Psychic Warrior more powers than a Wilder?

Silly girl, you don't need to take all of the monster levels in a row. Go Botj 1/wilder 1 and then switch between Botj and wilder every level to grab more powers known untill all Botj levels are taken, and you'll be grabbing the wilder powers known as well.

BiaJ only stacks from 4th level onwards.

My issue is that stacking with Wilder and Psychic Warrior but not Psion is a terrible deal because Wilder sucks for a class that's all about manifesting. It's limited to at most 11 powers, getting less than a class that is to Psion as a Bard or Paladin or something is to a Wizard/Cleric, and its only unique class feature carries a risk of screwing yourself over!

Basically, Wilder needs more love because, as a class, it's blatantly suicidal. And there are hardly and Manifester PrC's, too...

You're possibly better off with BiaJ 4/Psion 16 despite the stacking.

... seems like a psion would be more fitting thematically, anyway.

There are probably Wilder fixes out there somewhere. Just stack it with those.

Also, there's a feat that lets you learn extra powers known.

Spending feats on extra powers, on top of not getting the bonus psionic feats like the other two classes? Ouch.

Really hope there is a fix for it somewhere...

There's always SirP's quick fix from his houserules. Learns an extra power per level. Simple, but addresses the primary issue with the class.

You could also go Paragon with the manifesting excellences.
