how many "weapons" and "Armor" can one effectively carry?
« on: June 18, 2012, 03:25:06 PM »
as far as weapons on a person I think that you can dual wield two weapons and have shield spikes (on a buckler) and you can have one enchanted armor spot and carry a shield.
Are there any other spots where you can hold an additional magic ARMOR or WEAPON item?

Specifically I'm looking at those two types of items for thier enchantments...

Boot knife, braid blade, armor spikes, spiked shield (can be enchanted as both a weapon and a shield, separately, but IIRC you can't put spikes on a buckler), Chahar-aina, Dastana (both can hold armor enhancements)... I'm sure there are more, but I can't think of any right now.

Complete Scoundrel (or Adventurer, one of those, I think) had about 6 different special weapons you could have scattered about your clothing, none of which take up a limb.

If you're not looking to attack with the weapon, just have it, poison rings are great.  You can have (at least) one per finger, and since they're on your hands, they're "wielded".
What do I win?
An awesome-five for mentioning Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness.

If you can get a natural bite attack, mouthpick weapons (lords of madness) also work.

Correct. They can not be added to a buckler.
