Seeing, the devastation, Dunor lowers his hammer and says, "Dalanath, Theo, I think we may need to hunt the goblins down at a later time. If we do not help this town, we would not be doing their memories justice. Besides, if the town burns down, we may not be able to return to their bodies to bury them."

Dalanath sighs, then nods.  "It's what Rothgar would have wanted."

Dunor looks for one of the guards that are nearby.

"We have decided to help with the Aid efforts. Who should we speak to about what can be done on our part?"

The guard flings his arms out wide, "Take a look around, there's no shortage of those in need of help."

You look for those to help, and soon come to a street devastated from a titanic fight. Buildings are ablaze and many work to combat the fires. On the ground of the street rubble of a wagon burns along with the corpse of a full grown ogre. Many bodies of hobgoblins and goblins are strewn about the street.

Among those helping dowse flames you see an Eladrin wielding magic to assist the towns efforts in fighting the fires.

Dunor looks on at the devastation in both disgust and partly in respect, however slight, due to the goblins' ability to wreak such havoc. He steps into the middle of the street, closes his eyes, and hefts his hammer into the air.

He calls out, as though in prayer,
"O Spirits of the Storms, heed my call!
Relieve your clouds, let your rains fall!
"

Upon finishing his request of the spirits of nature, he lowers his hammer, and looks for some way to help put out the fires.

When deciding what to do:
--------
Taking a frustrated look out into the darkness and making a noise somewhere between a growl and a grunt, Theo responds "Yeah. Let's go".

-------
In town:
-------

Thespias looks over the destruction wrought by the goblinoids. "I think I can help your spirits a bit Dunor"
Drawing his dagger, the halflings eyes grows cloudy as he focuses. Suddenly a small whirlwind appears over a large piece of flaming debris, sucking out all the oxygen and stifling the flames. He sits down on the ground. "But I'm going to need a little while before I can do that again."

Dalanath rolls his eyes at his companions.  "Bloody showoffs."  He goes to help fight fires the old fashioned way.

The Eladrin magic user nods at your display of arcane power. You can clearly see a bandaged wound that is slightly bleeding through, it is apparent he has seen some action this evening.

Dalanath quickly jumps in on a line of buckets begin passed along. Assisting with the fire fighting. The townsfolk welcome the help. You have the buckets as they come to you to a tall human with piercing blue eyes. He has a sword belted to his waist and wears leather that looks in need of some repair after the nights fighting.

In taking a bucket the tall human briefly introduces himself, "Thank you; Not the best time for introductions, but you lads look alright to me.  Name is Söffå.  Who might you be?  I wager you have seen a bit of action this night as well, yes?"

After their new companions leave, Dalanath addresses Duno and Thespias.  "We must tend to our dead, to my brother...  I will not leave them sitting in that abandoned temple."

"Agreed, Dalanath. Jacopo will be given a proper Northern funeral rite, to guide his spirit to the Feasting Halls of the eternal warriors' rest. Or, wherever his spirit chooses to dwell."

Dunor looks around for a pier or dock near the water, and a villager, so that he might purchase a small boat. It wouldn't be fully what his friend deserved, but it would do the job.

It does not take long for you to find a boat. With the Halfling river folk in town, you have heard that several of their older boats are available for purchase. You can easily find them on the shore nearby the town's docks.
