Are we talking about metamagicing the spell? Beyond LA (which we do not have in this game), that is all I can think of.

A) An Incarnate Construct creature has no LA just as a Magic-Blooded creature has no LA.

B) Despire the houserules saying he doesn't want LA used, sirpercival has approved templates that require LA in his list of approved homebrew.

C) There is apparently already an Incarnate Construct character so shenanigans are already underway.  Yes, shenanigans refer to LA.  If you are an Incarnate Construct Phrenic Warforged, your LA is 0 for example.

Also remember that incarnate construct removes all special qualities and abilities, so no immunities, darkvision, etc from the previous templates. Also it has to be added last to give the -2 benefit, otherwise it gives 0 as the LA according to the template (imo), so not too easy to get any real benefits as many templates don't even go on warforged.

I didn't say we weren't going to use LA, I said we weren't going to use LA buyoff.   While I think osle's method is superior to LA in almost every way, it's incomplete for now.  Incarnate construct is okay.

With your rework of the barbarian does whirling frenzy stay the same?

Yes, whirling frenzy is the same as it was.  Jackinthegreen had the same discussion with me :)

Oh, yes.  WF is per encounter.  The other changes only apply to standard rage.

Here's a question: Do living constructs count as living creatures?

Um, yes?  They have a Con score, and aren't dead.

That opens up some interesting template options...

I thought I posted this question... but I don't see it anywhere.

Can we change the prereqs on Extra Readied Maneuver? Who thought making that Swordsage only was a good idea?

I imagine they did not want it to interact with the Crusaders recovery mechanism...

Making it swordsage only leaves the warblade SoL too though.

Warblades have enough going for them that they are just fine. If anything, Swordsage needs a little boost.
Hmm.

Swordsage also has the most readied maneuvers of all the adept classes, plus the crappy refresh mechanic.  My guess is they made the swordsage's large maneuver numbers and crappy refresh mechanic as a "balance" point.  It's probably the refresh part that needs the biggest overhaul, and that'll take a bit more than Adaptive Style.  Something that plays off swapping strikes and boosts might be interesting and unique, or maybe just making a move action concentration check (swift with feat maybe) with a result of 10 refreshing one maneuver and every 5 after gaining another back.
